look at the crap thats come out and you’ll see why, 80% of online purchaes are catalog songs not new material

I cant remember when last i bought “fresh” music if i must be honest :)

I agree. They just don’t make music like they used to.

I guess it is a combination of crappy music and music piracy that makes record sales decline.

In UK, music sales again are really strong. I loved the music since 2000 keeps getting better. Goldfrapp , sugababes, scissor sisters, franz, keane, they is loads i love.

rox yeah loved those too ;)

Watching the prices for a single CD, which are around 23 euro (last time I bought a CD here was more then 1 year ago, so maybe prices are even higher now), it is not strange people are watching if they can get an album cheaper.

Only albums of groups i really like (like Roxette) I buy originally, other songs or CD’s I just take from the internet.
I would be a thief of my own money if i would buy such expensive CD’s, with music on it which I only listen to a few times.

New music is CRAP!!!!

The last album that I bought was Evanescence’s Fallen

if you can even call that “music”...

evanesence is music...last album i bought was amarantine by enya well worht it

@Judith: That you don’t seem to like it, is no reason to give such a comment.

I just bought Bodies Without Organs CD... it was cheap.

CD‘S are too expensive!

kuryliw: are singles still selling very well in the UK?
For some reason UK and Germany sells a lot of singles as I have heard and read.

talking about Evanescence doesn´t they sound like Within Temptation?

ThePopHits i think its cos most albums are stupid price still compared to US so people can afford the one song faster.
