hej,

today i got my copy of son of a plumber ;-))
But I got the normal CD and ordered the digi pack (deluxe edition). I know I´m not the only one whith that problem...

What´s wrong at Begans???

Did you order the digi immediately after SOAP.com was released?

I did the same thing and realised they had a problem with the website coding... whatever you ordered you would be getting the normal jewel case. I asked them to double check the code and confirmed there was an error, so they asked me to reorder.....hopefully they will send me the digi...still waiting! :)

Got mine the following day it was released. I live in Spain.

I ordered it just a few days after the page offered it. I got my digipack, no problems at all.

I don’t think that’s a general problem then.

I ordered my digipak late Tuesday night from CDON and it arrived this morning! :) digipak is really nice like a mini LP!!! LOL I am gonna buy the jewel case one next week, as the digipak is too nice to keep using!

Once, a parcel from the Netherlands to Argentina took one whole month. It depends if the parcel is shipped via normal airmail or registered. Registered mail takes 7-10 days to arrive, but if not it can take 4-5 weeks to arrive. A parcel to Australia would take more than 5 days, just consider it has to pass through the customs, and that’s makes the things even slower.

Hopefully it’s an isolated issue. Don’t wanna have to go through the hassle of return and stuff, especially because the prices are different.

@PeterGm: Well, I’m here in New York, and today is sunday Nov 27th and i haven’t received mine yet. So tomorrow (MONDAY) will be about a week since the realease. It’s kinda annoying to wait like this.

Who do you think will receive it first? Man, it could even be you. :-)

Australia is 5 days to major cities from Sweden. The US is 4-6.

Well, as of today (Monday, Nov 28th), still haven’t gotten the album yet. The release was last wednesday, so if the album was sent out last tuesday, as they said they would try to do, that means that from tuesday to today (Monday) there have passed 6 days. However, last thurday was a national holiday here (Thanksgiving) and sunday (yesterday) isn’t a business day, so that leaves 4 business days left already counting last saturday because mail is delievered here on saturday.

Well, i guess then that the album should be arriving tomorrow (Tuesday or wednesday. Hope so!! :-)

It must have been the craziness at the airports during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Today it’s Tueday the 29th at 10:36 am, and still nothing.. Let’s see.

Finally, it’s here!! It arrived today (Wednesday the 30th) exactly one week after the release date in Sweden.

Feel so much better now guys!! lol

Starting to open the package now. And, it’s the digipack, so i received what i ordered.

I’m doing good Carlos, thank you! Went to see Depeche Mode last night and they really kicked ass!!! Great show, cool stage set as well. But still every time I go to a concert I close eyes and wish I was back in Vienna( Nov. 2001, RS Tour) instead. Or at a new one:))

BTW, it’s snowing in Chicago, not a big deal but I still enjoy it. I used to die for snow when I was a kid, and still I don’t ski:)

Yesturday I called them and asked what we can do to solve the problem (since I got no replay on my mail...) the woman was very kind and said they are going into every single case to solve that...I will get my right one and she will send me an e-mail this afternoon (yesturday). Didn´t got anything...

Well I sent the first eMail last thursday, 8 days ago. They has by today not even seen that one. I called on Monday, and she had no idea about any coding error at the beginning, and said she would look into it, and send eMail. Nothing for 2 days, I called again on Wedensday, and she seemed to have foudn out there was some error, but they had to discuss how to pratically solve the sending of correct CD version, and how for me to return the wrong one to them. She said an eMail would come, or a call. But tonight, 2 days later, not a word from them still...
And yes, she’s nice on the phone, but I’d rather see some action getting done, like my correct version on the way ;)

i initially accidentally ordered the normal version instead of the digipack at bengans... lady told me she would cancel the order 2 weeks before the album was out... now my creditcard has been billed on 26 November by Bengans after the order was cancelled in the first week of november... of course no received received... emailed them 4 days ago, still haven’t got a reply... so far in my experience bengans sucks big time... Instead ordered stuff now from hotstuff.se and even the lp’s have already been shipped. now that’s what i call service! :o)

Am still waiting for a decent reply (or better even at least an LP) from them after having paid them around 80 Euros for several items.

I´ve just got my SOAP copy from Bengans today I was very satisfied!
They´ve sent me en email some days ago telling I´d probably get the regular version because of that error that had happened.. but I´ve received the correct version I ordered (the digipack), and it wassealed - I´ve ordered from Skivhugget since 97. cos they were the only swedish shop I knew that ship to Brazil, and most of the cds never came sealed! And Bengans is cheaper than Skiv.
Guess I´ll only buy from Bengans next times...

My copy of SOAP was sent on November 22nd, and I haven’t received it yet :(
I’ve bought CDs and books and the like from Sweden before, and the items never ever took this long to arrive.
But what pisses me off is that I’ve sent three different e-mails to them over the past two weeks, and I haven’t got any replies so far. Nothing. Nada.
I’m very dissapointed. :(

I was very disappointed to. And yes, to this date, they have never replied to my eMails. Only thing that worked was to call them on regular phone. Sadly they only answer their phones between 10 am and 1 pm (swedish time) on workdays (monday-friday).

I finally got the correct version of SOAP, digipack on christmas eve, one month after I should have gotten it. I know there are more that had the same problems.

I suggest you try to call them, they answer the phone fast at least, and there was no que :)

Only i have to add that even they took some time to answer my mails always did it and were very respectful so no complaints on that matter.

After my 3rd complaint email, I got an email from Bengans asking if I was still waiting for my CD. I replied that yes, I was still waiting. They sent another mail saying that they would deliver another copy. This was on Jan 23rd.

It was a month now... and I’m still waiting :(

Who the hell are this guys? I feel VERY regreted of not having bought my copy of SOAP through Skivhuget, which has been awesome in the past. It’s a pitty that the “official” store linked to soap.com was this crap of Bengans.

I surrender. I don’t think that after another month my CD will arrive. An order from Sweden to Argentina takes 1 or 2 weeks to arrive, at the most.

So, after my rant, the question is: Is it possible to find the digipack version of SOAP in regular music stores in Stockholm? I’ll be there on May, and I still want it, so I’ll buy it if I can.

As regards Bengans... I consider my money lost. I feel cheated. I’ll never ever buy anything from them again.
