Miss-pressed/Uncommon cd single

I have a “The look” cd single made in Sweden. The version of the song “Silver blue” is different from the one that appears on Italian-UK issue of the single (and probably on all other singles). Seen as this difference is not mentioned on The look for Roxette I’d like to know if I have a strange cd or if all Swedish issues include a different version of “Silver blue”
Anybody knows????
By the way the version of SB that I have on the SW issue is the same as the one you can find on the bootleg “Super Swedes”, while the version I have on the UK issue is the same one as on the “Chances” single (same as the videoclip).

Yes but that’s the one on the UK single, the one on the SW single is different.

Maybe your “The Look” CD-single is not mispressed but bootlegged?
roxlad said on November 15, 2005 14:08:
No, I doubt is bootlegged it looks too original and nobody bootlegs singles although it was a good thought. I’m going to put online a few seconds of each track so that you can hear the difference. I’ll do it later tonight.

Here are the two samples, as you can see (hear) the SWedish version is quite softer than the uk/italian version. Also you cannot hear Marie before Per starts to sing.
I think the Sw version is the real demo while the other version is the final produced song which they labeled as a demo by mistake on the cover. In fact on the “Chances” single you can also hear this more produced song which is not labeled as a demo.
Of course then we also have the Tourism version so all in all it’s three different versions.

I only have the German CD-single. And for me the version on that CD and the one in Tourism are exactly the same. I don’t hear any difference.
Maybe I didn’t pay enough attention to the song (I never liked it).

Silver Blue (Demo) exists in 3 versions:
1st original unedited: Demos bootleg
2nd edited: ANY The Look single
3rd sligthly refreshed: ANY Tourism
was discussed here million times :D

It took me a few listens till i realised what the difference was. To me the uk/ita version sounds the same as the Tourism version?!
What makes you think that the Tourism one is different again?
Looks like it maybe just a misprint to me.

The version on the Swedish 5”CD is the same as the one on Demos & Spices etc. Much better quality though. This IS different from the version on the Swedish 7”/12”.

when I bought the ’run to you’ CD1 single in the UK, when I got it home and actually listened to it, it was actually a mis-print and was the new Eternal song that was out the same day. I took it back and exchanged it for another one - but wish I now had kept it! DOH!

If it’s the same as the video clip, it’ll be the demo. Is the same version I have on my 12” vinyl of “The Look” single.
