Roxette Battle

Hey everyone,
I have invented a game, called Roxette Battle. You can find it here.
Basically, it randomly displays 2 Roxette songs, and you pick which one you like better. It then keeps track of which songs win the most, and which ones lose the most. In this manner, we can determine the best-loved Roxette song, and the most hated!
Since I just made it, I have been the only one playing it, and so far “Spending My Time” is the winner (it has won 3 of 3 battles) and “View from a Hill” is the loser, having lost 4 of 4 battles. Also, when you’ve voted in a battle, it will tell you how often the one you picked beats the other one. For example, it will say “Breathe” beats “View from a Hill” 94% of the time.
You have to sign up to play, (I can’t figure out how to change this.) But it’s lots of fun, I hope some people will come and play!

Oh, yeah - I should have mentioned (and I will put this on the site.)
If you don’t know a song, just press “New Battle” and it will load 2 different songs!

Funny, but if you select “New Battle” it comes up with the same battle each time.
That’s a pity.

harriej,
i have tested using opera and internet explorer, and it comes up with different ones whenever you press “new battle”.
Another thing you can to to have a new battle is press the “reload” button on your browser - that should definately work in any browser!

there is a huge flaw
on winners and losers it only takes into consideration how often a song has won or lost instead of the percentage since they all had a different number of battles
for example:
Watercolours in the Rain 21wins of 33 battles that would be 64% wins
while the song below “Fading like a Flower” has 21 wins of 26 battles that would be 81% wins yet it is further down the list.

thank you, majdy :)
emex, you’re right, i should think about that! not really a “huge flaw”, it’s just a cool game :) but percentages would be a better way to determine fan faves, and which ones lose/win the most..
the thinking about “number of contests lost/won” as opposed to percentages: the game is still new, so it only has a few players. as it becomes used more and more, each song will have been in battle an equal amount of times against each other song, and have an equal chance at winning or losing..
well, that’s the theory anyway :) but for now, i will look into a percentage method!

I just wonder how could you get an unique nickname “putrimalu” it seems like an Indonesian language means “shy princess”??
