@ally77....that’s a good idea, a GH 20th edition.
i think they should do a whole album of demos from both per and marie, that would be something new. billy corgan did it and it was really good. and maybe throw in a new song or two.

I really like the demo’s idea; but demo’s of unreleased songs... or (now this is even better) a raw album consisting only of new ’demo’s’ but without fancy programming etc... in otherwords all songs will only have 1 take which will mean the album will take super fast to record and Marie & Per get the chance to go back to what comes most naturally music-wise... i think the result will be very ’rocky’ kinda like a stripped down CBB. Oh the Roxette formula would work brilliant with this concept - Per has amazing writing abilities and Marie has the musical soul to deliver them without fancy stuff! I imagine the album to sound like the SIMC demo... raw yet powerful with ’real’ instruments. Plus this should b a cheap album to make aswell and i’m sure Per & Marie would love to work on this level again without so much pressure!!
Well this is my dream album!!

The problem with Marie and Roxette isn’t the recording but the promotion and touring. If they found a way to release a roxette album like this and - still make EMI happy - they would.

I believe that they are established enough (in more ways than some of us can comprehend) to record such an release and do sufficient promotion without having to slave away at it... and yeah ofcourse a tour wouldn’t be an option at the moment and most people will understand that!

does anyone care to speculate when the next roxette album will come out? it doesn’t seem like per and marie will be working together any time soon......i’m thinking maybe in late 2006 or into 2007. or maybe i missed something in an old article about when they decide to go back into the studio.
