Hello, I’m new in here. I just wanted to know about the song “Crazy about you”, is it a cd song? a b-side? In which Cd or single can I find it?

Oh, I wasn’t even aware that it was a different version? Is the later version much different? How do they differ to each other? I only know the one from You dont understand me..

They are very much the same, although you can hear some differences. The one version is called “demo” while the other is called “CBB version”. Definitely the same recording, but slightly differently mixed.

“Crazy about you” can also be found on “The look´95 - part 2” UK CDmaxi.
That´s the same version avaliable in “You don´t understand me” european CD single.

I prefer the CBB version... just a little ’richer’ in the programming!!

@ tev
You sure the other one is a demo? It sounds pretty much like a finished version...and the sleeve does not say it is a demo...I could be wrong tho.

@animal: No, I just seem to remember that, I may be wrong.

I love this song, when I first found it I played it all the time!
coyboyusa said on August 17, 2005 16:46:
the difference is the cbb version was a finished version dropped from cbb it includes a full string section and synths, the ” demo version” is bland..i imagine the same would eb said of the hand version of center of your heart if we ever get to hear it

when was the ’normal’ version recorded ? i thought after the CBB version for some strange reason !
So which one is final , ill have to play and listern now lol, i thought the 1st version was meant for DBUGTTC cos it was ’toned’ down from the CBB recording of it which they didnt like and recored the non ccb version along with YDUM and i dont wanna get hurt. ?
tevensso (moderator) said on August 17, 2005 21:40:
OK, I’ve checked, it doesn’t say “demo” on the single, just “previously unreleased”.
But it still is the same version with very little differences, although noteable.

What about “Crazy About You” Marie version on Hometown? It was coverversion of Roxette or another song with the same tittle by another artist??

actually tev the version of crazy about you that appears on the anyone single says cbb version...the cbb version has no mixers in the credits i noticed
Sascha said on August 18, 2005 08:19:
I think the YDUM version (released ’95) is a remix of the original CBB version (recorded ’94, released ’99).
tevensso (moderator) said on August 18, 2005 08:22:
Yes, the other version says “CBB version,” I was refering to the first. And the sleeve notes are similar on both, even though the sound isn’t.
animalkingdom said on August 18, 2005 08:59:
coy,
there’s no Crazy About You on Anyone. It’s on Salvation.
coyboyusa said on August 20, 2005 13:36:

Crazy About You was B-side to two differerent singles.
Firstly as B-side to the You Don’t Understand Me single in 1995, the second track ong this single. Found on both plastic case and cardboard singles.
Then again as a B-side to the Salvation single in 1999, but this time in a different version “C.B.B. version” which originated from the Crash! Boom! Bang! recordings. This time is was the third track on the single which means it was only on the CDS in plastic case, not on the cardboard single.
