Per & Jon Bon Jovi??

I was looking for pergessle.net-site and I read that Jon Bon Jovi have asked Per to record something together. Do you people here know anything about that?

Apparantly it was around the time that they were both doing solo albums 1997. I think Per said that he was too busy. Don’t know too much about it though

the only connection they have is Desmond Child.
DC and Per once wrote a song (’Only you’ is I’m not mistaken) and Per said that it sounds like a bad Bon Jovi song...

Another connection is that the latest Bon Jovi album is called “Have A Nice Day”

a bad Bon Jovi song meaning what? Bon Jovi having both good and bad songs, or Bon Jovi being bad?

I like Bon Jovi... :P

[email protected] :)

Bon Jovi wanted Per to co-write his solo album Destination Anywhere [Which did crap anyways] Per said he was Busy, so BJ Wrote it with the guy from Euyrithmics.

Other than that Per and Desmond Childs [Who co-wrote YDUM and several BJ hits] co-wrote a song called “Only You” Which Per Described as a “Bad Bon Jovi Song” Apparently DC wanted to use it for some reason and Per either “lost” or didn’t give him the copy.

Cheers

Dave

I think that Per missed a huge opportunity to promote Roxette and himself...

If my memory is correct, Per still has the demo of Only You. So it’s not lost :)

How do you know? :) You been in his wardrobe? :P

Hey ditroia, thanks for the info. I didn’t about the Eurythmics-part of the story. Good to know.

JBJ Destination Anywhere sold crap?? It sold a lot more than TWATG did!!

LOL...is that a difficult task?

Not really I suppose, which is a shame ’cos it’s a cool album!

1. Sold crap compared to a normal BJ album.

2. Lost as in Per Doesn’t want it to see the light of day.

I don’t think it would work!

my favorite men they are both hot they are both great why not try something together

:) per is hot

Speaking of Jon Bon Jovi, I just happened to walk pass him a couple of days ago on Rush Street in Chicago. His band is in town this weekend, had a show last night. He looked exactly as I’d known him from pictures and videos. Funny, how you bump into celebrities here. Last year Steven Tyler was sitting next to me in Jonny Rockets, in the summer Vince Vaughn was waiting for a table next to ours( I should have offered him a seat), also two weeks ago I saw John Cusack leaving a building next to where I work. Friends of mine who work downtown have waited on Antony Queen, to name one.

Also, regarding the new Bon Jovi album( Have A Nice Day), I was reading an interview in the Red Eye( local newspaper) with Richie Sambora, and he explained how it is more of a showing a middle finger than pleasing with the title. Sounds familiar? I remember Per stating in an interview back in 1999 that his message was more like ” Have a nice day, a**whole!”

Rox On!

I know nothing about this but it would be fantastic, my two favourite singers together!!!
