Let's focus our comments to the main discussion

Hi, Folks!
I guess it’s time to share some thoughts with you.
There’s two threads that recently attracted my attention: the first one is entitled “Roxette Brazilian Fans” and the other one is entitled “R2R FORUM MODERATOR GETS PLEASURE FROM BOMBINGS”. Both of them started very well, until one guy* had posted not-related comments about football and Argentina. What’s football and Argentina got to do with Brazilian Roxette fans and the London bombings? I think there’s a lot of more important things that Brazilian people could say besides football (or carnival)...
After that not-related comments, another guy** replies to them, because he lives in Argentina. He tries to expose the Argentina’s superiority over Brazil at football and other sports. So, there’s two topics inside the same topic: the main topic (related to the thread subject, where the grown up people expose their comments) and a secondary topic (a childish discussion between two people, something like “-Mine is better than yours! -No, it’s mine that is better than yours!”).
In my opinion, it’s a lack of respect for the people that started those threads, as I said once.
I know that Argentina is a great country, as I’m pretty sure that Brazil (my country) is a great country, too. But it’s useless to discuss that Argentina is better than Brazil, and vice-versa. Who else cares about it? Could that discussion change the world?
Or, those guys* ** could start another threads about the “issues” that they think are more important...
* can be replaced by “@LoneGunman”
** can be replaced by “@Staffany”

this happens every now and then, I guess it’s almost impossible to control that.. I guess it’s human nature ;) and since we cannot split the topics, we have to live with it - we can only ask people to go back to topic.. or/and close the topics.
I think none of us is free of sin, anyway ;)

”...and since we cannot split the topics, we have to live with it”.
Maybe that’s option for the future then? :)

we cannot split them _currently_. We will see what happens in the future, remember a new version is coming (somewhen :))...

Whenever you have the possibility, you have a lot of work to do.
Especially O***g has made a sport of NOT sticking to the subject of the thread.

I agree, I think it’s so wrong to say “Oh yeah he’s Argentinian so that’s typical...” My best friend comes from Argentina so that’s pretty offensive. That discussion totally degenerated when it became Brazil vs Argentina.
