New Moderator?

Was surfing in a topic, the one about ’Who has the best singing voice, per or marie’ and I noticed that colinbvdel [sic] had ’moderator’ next to his name.

Has he been appointed as a new moderator?

Just wondering.

I spotted this as well, unless he always has been one and maybe he / she did not post much...

yes Colin is a new moderator :)

cool, welcome!

I wondered, is there really that much traffic here these days

and

what are the criteria for choosing mods

These questions are just general interest. I have no objections and I don’t wish to present such an impression

Welcome Colin! :)

I’m curious too now

Blast you OAM *lol*

@spooky, lol!

Yes, I also wonder... How does anyone become a moderator?

Is there some “conclave” and white smoke?

yes we all dress in purple... didn’t u see the smoke? ;)

It wasn’t purple, more a pinky lilac.... ;)

Jude: Any excuse for you to *POOF* ;o)

Oi, if “purple” & “smoke” had anything to do with it i wouldve been a moderator a long time ago!

Awww PurpleM did not think you’d want to do that kind of role... ;)

Some whips & chains can’t hurt? Or can it? *gives evil grin*

As many of you have noticed, Colin van der Bel from the Netherlands is a new forum moderator. I wish him good luck in his task. May the need for his work be as little as possible.

What it comes to applying for a moderator, there is no set process for it. If you’re interested in becoming a moderator, feel free to contact us. No fame nor fortune promised.

Damn u mean the moderator’s gotta buy their own weapons?

I gots me own keebored...! :D

@PM: Still laughing :DDDDD

and guess, such tdr-keyboards have special mod-keys for editing, deleting.. ;)

PM—LOL!

I’ll confess to moderator envy; wondered if the Western Hemisphere needed one of it’s own. . . What’s the pay? Gotta be upwards of 40,000.

40,000 whats? ;) Yen... maybe?

40000 Yen is enough for me :P
But I’m afraid the pay is more like 40,000 Lei (the currency of Romania). I was once millionaire... for one day in Romania :O

Colin is still not mentioned in the “About Us”-section.
Maybe it would be nice if he was mentioned there, then he is really part of the team.

MM: Lars is in NYC... so he’s the “Western Hemisphere” mod

Oops, apparently Romania recently changed the currency and now 40000 lei is a whole lot of money! :D (In the old currency 40000 was 0,95 Euro).

How many zero’s did they skip?

They multiplied by 10000 the previous lei.
