Which one was more succesful

HAND or RS?
Bunio said on June 19, 2005 10:49:
Stars single was a hit? Since when?
I think that singles from RS were better. They all did quite good at polish charts. From HAND only WICF was a real hit in poland.

Polish chart is not decisive when we are talking about global success. Polish market is very small...

I personally don’t like anything Roxette did in Spanish, so I wouldn’t buy the HAND with the extra tracks if I didn’t collect.

hand sold more copies, rs did better in the swedish charts it been their only swedish number one album ever

roxette have only ever had 1 num 1 album in sweden ? hand did better with huge success of wicf

It’s a bit curious how much success Roxette gets in small markets (for example, “The Centre Of The Heart” climbed to the first position in Argentina)...
Bunio said on June 20, 2005 22:08:
@Staffany - i know that, it was just an example.
Show me the country where Stars was a hit. I think it would be better for this track to keep the guitar version from demo.
Staffany said on June 20, 2005 22:17:
I was not talking about Stars... but it’s more popular than Real Sugar...
Starrox said on June 21, 2005 00:48:
Yeah, from what I remember, Stars made it to #23 in the German Top 100 Single Charts - if that’s not good enough to be considered a hit, then I don’t know what is!

Can you let me know what is each crosstable about? Some I understand, some not. I’d like to know more.
Thanks!

@coyboyusa: where did you heard that Room Service was Roxette only album #1 here in sweden??
Trust me, I live in sweden, and Ive been following the charts since the Joyride-days. In fact, all Roxette albums have reached #1 here in sweden except for DBU95(#2), BEE(?), ,TBH(#5) and TPH(#16). Look Sharp!, Joyride, Tourism, C!B!B!, HAND and off course Room Service were all #1s!!
The only starnge thing I think its that Roxette has only been #1 with 3 singles, Joyride, Sleeping In My Car and The Centre Of The Heart.

TCOTH number 1 in Argentina! Wow. I didn´t know it did that well.

@abysmo:
Thank you very much. Now I understand almost everything, except the tables like:
“Umístìní alb Roxette ve švédské albové hitparádì”
What is Týdnù and Týden? I don’t understand those numbers in that tables...
You forgot to mention “The Change”. It was #18 album of 2004 in Sweden!

2 Staffany
“Umístìní alb Roxette ve švédské albové hitparádě” - Weekly positions of albums in swedish album chart, week by week.
“Týdnů” mean how many weeks spent album in chart, so it started with 1 and continue 2, 3 and ...
“Týden” is number of week, for example, CBB released April 11th 1994, which is week 15, TBH released November 7th 2002, which is week 46.
The Change - I´ll see on IFPI.se and add. Thanks for tip.
I´ll add The Change (18), FFF (1), GT25 (12) and Mazarin (13).

@Bunio
Well it went right in to the first place on “Tracks” wich is the biggest radiochart show in Sweden and it was nr 34 on the yearly list. It was maybee not a “super” hit but it was a hit. At least in Sweden.

I think it’s fair to say Have A Nice Day sold more.
Even the singles sold better, two bigger hits (WICF & Stars) whereas Room Service contained only one “true” hit single.
