It’s true.
The song is constantly played on Z100, which is New York City’s biggest radio station.
Take care.

Listen to Your Heart by DHT is at #5 at Z100’s playlist, which is New York City’s and state’s biggest radio station. The song is the 5th most played song on the station.
Here’s Z100’s DHT biography:
With the 2005 single ”Listen to Your Heart,” D.H.T. became the latest European dance act to find its American footing via Robbins Entertainment. The New York label had previously helmed singles from DJ Sammy (”Heaven”) and Lasgo (”Something”) to success, and the Belgium-based D.H.T. (singer Edmee Daenen and DJ Da Rick; various producers) featured a similarly propulsive blend of accessible NRG/Euro-dance rhythms, plaintive female vocals, and progressive house texture. It was D.H.T.’s glossy Roxette remake that really caused a stir, like Sammy’s cover of Bryan Adams before it.
Take care.
Carlos E., New York.

According to a Belgian newspaper today, D.H.T. sent their remix to Per Gessle in 2003 and he was really enthousiastic.

The song was #1 today on Z100 in NYC when they did the top 5 at noon..#2 being Gwen and #3 being Mariah. Its great to hear one of my favorite songs on the radio even if it does pale in comparison to the original. Us Rox-deprived americans will take what we can get. I just fear that all the ’kids’ requesting and/or liking the song think it’s a ’new’ song and have no clue who Roxette is. As for it exposing them to Roxette...would be nice but when there was a dance cover out a few years ago of Bryan Adam’s “Heaven” I don’t remember a resurgence in his exposure.
