Hey sorry I’ve been away for so long I feel like I’ve missed out on heaps. What’s Ms Fredriksson’s album like? The latest GT album? Where can I download them cos there’s no way in hell Oz is gonna get them!

They ship worldwide at a very good price :)

To answer your questions: Ms Fredriksson’s album is a bit controversial around here, some people absolutely hate it and others love it. I’m somewhere in between, it’s not really my style of music but there are some nice songs and Marie’s voice is beautiful. It’s a very old fashioned jazzy bluesy style, so not really my thing, but of course just great to have Marie back!!

GT: It’s a typical GT album so if you’ve heard anything by GT before you won’t be surprised by this. That said, there are some great catchy tunes and it’s a fun album.

http://www.sanity.com.au has The Change and Fin Fem Fel but I think the link above is cheaper.

I don’t agree Marie’s album is a very old fashioned jazzy bluesy style. I don’t understand why some people say that, I don’t hear any jazz tune in any song from the album. Where is the jazz? I didn’t like it so much the first time I listened to it. But now, I need to play it very often, once every week at least. It’s among Marie’s best, without any doubt.

About GT album... well, it’s nothing new. The same style, the same tunes, the same arrangements. I can’t stand that CD very much. In my oppinion, it’s very boring.

Well you have to agree that it is a bit bluesy at least! And actually a bit jazzy too. It’s not jazz, neighter blues, but it has some of the feel from the blues, and a little bit from the jazz as well!

Personally I think both albums are brillaint - the best GT & Marie has come up with!! And yes... cdwow.com is trustworthy... bought both from them!!

What Zargo said, you can’t go wrong :-)

I think you should definitely get The Change, a great album!

Cool. Thanks for the info guys!
