eminem uses LTYH-chords

i thought i just heard “listen to your heart” (the base) out of my sister’s room (through the door) and it would be courious, because she doesn’t like roxette BUT: it was *oh-my-god* EMINEM ... the song is called “mockingbird” out of his new album “encore” ...
i think, if “jenny and i” is plagiarism, “mockingbird” is stolen too ;) what do you think?

hmmmmm - that fact that they are called Roxette doesn’t cry out originality to me. but i love them none the less.

don’t really listen to eminem but didn’t his last song include a sample of martika’s toy soldiers?

I agree with you Joyrider,,,He used cords from LTYH for real...It’s sad that an artist like Eminem wanted to do something like this....Shame!

he probably did this unconciously, its Bm, G, A, I think. Its an easy thing to do. oam

If using those chords is plagiarism Rock and Roll would have stopped existing by 1960.

@ santi: you didn’t listen to eminem’s song alraady or am i wrong?

Hopefully, this song will be released as a single, cos I don’t want to buy the whole album just to check things out.

I am just listening to Eminems song for the first time now and I see what you mean... but I really think this is just pure coincidence!!!

I think a large percentage of rap/hip-hop “borrows” other people’s music. Honest opinion...I think some artists are running out of ideas, which is kinda sad.
To the artists that do this: If you need an original, ask Per Gessle for advice! ;)
