My view on this is that NOTP would be interested in having Roxette perform in their show. Germany remains one of Roxette’s strongest markets.

I think Per would agree to participate. He seems a shroud businessman to recognise a great opportunity.

I guess the biggest question is whether Marie is fit and well enough to perform. Only she can answer that one.

How many fans would go to such a show or buy a CD recording of the concert?

I would definately buy the CD :)

I guess they won’t do that unless they have a new album out on the shelves. This “tour” would definitely boost their sales - but there has to be something out in the stores to sell!

I had contact with the organisation of NOTP, and their statement (in short) is the following:

On the day of the press-conference for NOTP 2002, Marie was hospitalised and she was diagnosed with a braintumur. Consequently the place of Roxette was taken by Simple Minds and Foreigner, who were willing to join at last moment’s notice. Marie is still recovering from her illness and is unable to do any shows at the moment. So unfortunately no Roxette at NOTP in 2005.

As far as I know it’s European...it was The Netherlands and Belgium, but France and Germany are also mentioned on the site...you can check out their site for more info I gues...http://www.notp.com

btw ticket sales start very early...like almost a year in advance or so :S
