Come on guys! Show your support for Visa’s efforts.
We only need another 5 Roxette fans to join up and we get our own streaming Roxette radio station.
I know it’s a pain to sign up for sites, but this was was easy. All it requires is a username and password of your choice.

Sounds cool, thanks for pointing us to this site, Visa!
Warning to Mac OS 9.X users - don’t bother, the software isn’t compatible with anything before OS X...

When we have the required number of members, you can listen to the radio station with any player that is able to play MP3 streams.
It’s true that the iTunes extension that automatically sends information to Last.FM is not available for older Mac OS versions. But fortunately you don’t need that for listening.

Oops, I thought I *had* joined... turns out I only signed up for an account without joining the group! D’oh!
Anyway, we just need four more people! C’mon guys, you don’t even have to provide your e-mail address to join! And, as Visa pointed out, you can listen to the station without downloading the software, etc. It takes three seconds to join! Seriously!!

Me also joined. However, we will NOT have a ROXETTE station playing Roxette, GT, Marie or Per stuff, since the only song from our faves they have is It Must Have Been Love. Maybe if they add some more albums and songs it’ll be possible to create such as station, but at the moment it’s not.

Yes, the group now has ten members! Woohoo!
And Pietro is right, the station won’t be playing Roxette much. It should, however, play music that sounds nice to the ears of a Roxette fan. The system uses all the information it gathers from its network of users to determine what that music is.

It seems it’s too hard for me to sign up...
However, is it really for free??? It says that it is free just for the first month, then you hsve to *donate* money.

too complicated for me - do I have to wind it up??
;o)

Last.FM is a net radio service where you can get your own personalized radio station. The music played in the radio station is selected by the songs you listen to in your MP3 player software (there are plugins that send the information to Last.FM automatically) and by the songs other people who are interested in the similar music listen to.
I haven’t really been able to use it much yet, but I’ve created The Daily Roxette and Roxette groups there. As soon as there are at least 10 members in a group, the system will create a radio station for that particular group, too. The radio station would then play not only Roxette (if they even have Roxette in their collection) but other artists that should be appealing to Roxette fans.
You can join the The Daily Roxette and Roxette groups at http://www.last.fm/group/The%2BDaily%2BRoxette and http://www.last.fm/group/Roxette respectively.
