What are you Roxette wishes & hopes for 2005?

1. For Marie’s continued return to good health.
2. For Roxette to release killer new material.
3. For Per to pop on the Net and say hello to us every once in a while.
4. And for TDR to recognise “Wales” as a legitimate country option in the member settings options :)

I seriously doubt that a new album can be set for release in 2005! Marie has now re-begun so this whole thing obviously requires some amout of time. It’s necessary for her to be sure whether or not to undertake another Rox-ride again ... otherwise the true spirit of it will not be there! As far as Per is concerned I am sure he has loads of tracks in demo or to yet be recorded in demo that could easily fit for a possible Rox album but once again even he is taking a year off from everything... it’s too soon to say when will they begin recording together again or not .. they don’t know themselves of course so it takes its own time and he must be patient ... they are just like us and not like machines...

As for a new album ... it can have all types of ingridients RS CBB Joyride or some bit and pieces of HAND (for as long as the drama is kept out of the way) ... it must first and foremost possess that very unique rox feeling into it that only Per and Marie can give regardless the guitars or the synths ...that’s primordial. Then the intruments of corse it’s a matter of taste, if u are still crying to the nostalgic CBB sound then of course u want something like that if u are more into the flow of time and had no problems with a HAND or a RS then everything is certaintly fine for u ... I believe that there can be a middle ground between all these aspects but once again the feeling must be there and the sound chosen it’s only up to them. In end it’s to us to bash, love knock our head against the wall or to bring the sun out, drink some bear and enjoy it in that very good own roxettish way we all know...

In anycase, GT will release the dvd, a new single in January and Per might release a new solo album - I guess end 2005. No tour though. This said, I doubt there will be any Roxette 2005.

My only wish is Marie to fully recover (if possible) and feel fine and enjoy life. I don’t care for the rest.
I also don’t think that there will be any new Roxette stuff. :)

Ohh yes there will! Per can’t rest that much ..LOL as he himself says so he and Marie can’t stay away from Roxette even if they wanted to LOL so new Rox stuff ahead but as I had predicted not
in 2005 it’s too soon!

I wish Roxette starts to record new stuff, I think it’s time... I know Marie’s health is important but I think she can record music as she has shown recently. And... perhaps... Roxette can get success again

I think so, too. Marie is better now, but please Marie this should be no pressure for you, bu WE Love your music so much, and our wish is a brand new roxette album with your great voice and Per‘´s great ideas. ROXETTE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL IN THE WORLD. Hoe many bands doesn‘t exsist anymore. ROXETTE FOREVER!!!

Sadly, I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing Rox in my home country. I’ve always had to travel.

I really envy you guys on the Continent, especially Sweden and Germany.

Still, it could be worse. Look at our poor friends in the Americas and Australia. Thats a loooong way to travel.

Yes! Night of Props would be quite an event. Can you imagine hearing Roxette live accompanied by a full orchestra?

I hope they get re-invited to participate and that circumstances are in their favour next time.

Please... 2001 was so long ago... Room Service was a succesful album... isn´t it time for new ROXETTE album in 2005, Per?
