well sorry if it sounded harsh, but actually i didnt post on TDR for a long time, though i still used to check the news page for any news about Roxette. It used to be a really good place, where people had conversations...of course there was the occassional disagreement and flaming. but generally there was a nice feeling here. Due to me having broadband access at home for the past few months, i’ve been online a lot more, and this place just isnt what it used to be. This thread is just one example of that. Someone posts their opinion that isnt directed at anyone.....another member insults them telling them to “grow up chubby”...if you dont think that is crossing the line then i wouldnt like to be around you if thats how you talk to strangers. The person who is insulted answers back, and instead of the person who made the original comment offering a quick apology to resolve the situation, members of his little clique jump to his defense and insult the person who was insulted in the first place. Maybe I’ll go back to just reading the news page on TDR if this is the example of the way members behave. The R2R forum has a much better community atmosphere anyway.

I agree with Tinybubbles when she says it was all a simple misunderstanding. I believe many of the misunderstandings on this forum stem from the fact that we’re not all native speakers of the English language- something we seem to forget from time to time.
As for the “members of his (Zee’s) little clique” comment- I’m guessing that was at least partly directed at me because I was the first one to come to his defense. Hungover or not, you still said it and I don’t care for it.
Naturally I would come to his defense- he is my friend after all.

Well, I agree with ncurran. My comment was not directed at anyone, and yet I have someone calling me chubby simply because I said I don’t think anyone really needs 2GB of e-mail storage! If that is untrue, what are some people doing with their e-mail account, sending movies? Most songs rarely go past 5MB, you can save 400 songs with 2GB! If you are sending movies with your e-mail account FINE! Despite the fact that it’s HIGHLY illegal, about a million times worse than sending a single song!

I didn’t read this post about Hotmail, we aren’t God and can’t read every single thread, every single post... so I only wanted to say that whenever you feel there’s something we should look at, a flame, a personal attack.. please, use the email! (that you all seem to have, and not only 100mb space but 250 or even 1gb ;))
Our email addys are in our profiles but they are normally [email protected]. If you go to “About us” you will also find the link to “Feedback”.
So if you see a flame, insult.. and that we don’t edit/delete it, let us know, it is surely because we haven’t seen it :)
Regarding R2R: i don’t like it so much there, it’s rather childish and I most of the times feel like a total waste of time to read stuff there. Even though the “level” in TDR is lower now than some time ago it is still nice, some people are “weird” or whatever, but.. I guess this is always like that when a whole bunch of people gather together, there’s no way ALL are going to have the same points of view + thoughts. It is ok to discuss if we keep discussions free of insults/flames :)
So remember to contact us if you feel we have overlooked a flame or sth! Thanks :D

Hey no way I insulted him lol. I think Roxhard didn’t even take it THAT seriously as much as you did ncurran. Yup, it is a misunderstanding. See the problem is that be it chat or message forums or sms, they just CAN’T do it well when it comes to expression the proper “tone” of the whole thing. The “way” it was meant to be so any sorda of misunderstanding here is actually understandable!
Sometimes even a :P emoticon can look and feel nasty or sarcastic when it was delivered in a funny way but you wouldn’t really know specially if u don’t know the person that much.
ncurran... yes, we do have a little clique but that’s natural. Clique is a lil clique... I mean errr that’s all. We are a bunch of friends who have a better and close understanding of each other. A clique is not a gang or something... anyone can be a friend and join the clique. TDR must have thousands of users, I CAN’T be friends with all of them because my frequency wouldn’t match their frequencies or vise versa (shit I am talking science now? :D) Roxer is a relatively new user and so is Zaine but man I love both of them. They are really good friends and are a part of that lil clique. Don’t no body told them to stay away or insulted them or bahh.. we had our times, we shared jokes and sarcasm but we rather enjoyed it and didn’t take it that hard. We tried to be a bit more understanding so now we are friends.. mind you FRIENDS not gangsters even though that would be realy kool and oh oh we can have LittleSpooky as our big bad nasty girl to smack people for fun :P:P:P (Btw.. Hey Spook, how u doing? long time no see.. what’s up buddy?)
