Are there more than one spanish Rox-album?

Hey guys, the man in my CD-shop just told me that he has three spanish Roxette-cds bought in Southamerica. I know just about “Baladas en espanol”. Are there more “real” recordings or just (illegal) compilations ? And he didn’t mean the spanish songs on HAND.

No there are only the two you mention.

one was bad enough wasnt it? ;)

Muahahahahahaha

well there were rumpured spanish versions of stars and ydum

one full + those HAND tracks were MORE than enough....

(nothing against P+M, the translations simply SUCK)

Some translation are not SO bad, if you don’t consider the original meaning of the song. “Un dia sin ti”, “Habla el corazon”, “El día del amor” are the best songs on “Baladas en español”. The worst: “Quiero ser como tu”, “Crash Boom Bang” y “Una reina va detras de un rey”. The artwork of the album is TERRIBLE :oS

The Spanish songs from “Have A Nice Day” are slightly better, but “Lo siento” is horrible...

how was the art work for baladas horrible? they were some of the best pic of per and marie ever

I really like the artwork too... Rich

I don’t like them, specially the B&W photos. And the roses theme is simply awful

I Live in Brazil and last year I spent one month traveling through Bolivia, Peru and Chile and I saw about three different bootlegs-cds (really bad quality) in Spanish. There’s nothing new, the songs were taken from the album versions. Having different tracklists in a mix with English tracks.

i know that the only disc is spanish was baladas...and i think that with that was sufficient, but for them not, therefore , later , they removed other songs in spanish, salvation..., wicf, anyone.., wich they did not havemuch repercussion and the only virtue that it had is that marie pronunced a litlle more better and is clear that to per it did not wish to make the ridiculous situation again as about vulnerable..with respect to the cover art , i think that they not want to spend more energies and for that reason they used photos that they already they had.

I think Joyride (song not the album) in Spanish could sound funny!

I have a good friend from Argentina and she asked me “What do you think of Baladas?” I said I think it’s ok, and she answered “That’s because YOU don’t understand it. If you could understand just how bad those lyrics are you would hate it!”

So I guess it was pretty bad, she’s right I don’t understand but from what I’ve heard... Queen of Rain became A Queen Follows a King....that’s just plain terrible :o
