Cool - so I’d like to know why they had such problems with the delivery..*curious*
per_mson said on October 28, 2004 07:31:
Now CDON has it back on their page as well!
@Kiwein: Well, my guess is that they had some delays when making the cover. Such things happens now and then.

I spotted it this morning on CDON, so have ordered it, hope I get it!

The digipack is missing a drawing. On the backside of the jewelcase there is a drawing of Marie with a very long neck. I can’t find the same picture on the digipack.
Sparvogamarie said on November 2, 2004 18:51:
I have the digipack but at Skivhuset they had The Change on display and some were backwards. I noticed the drawing and thought that I hadn’t seen that one before, and sure enough couldn’t find it on my digipack. It was a cool drawing cos Marie DOES have a very long neck so it was funny to see that she had really exaggerated it.
Smart bloody record company, they know most fans would buy the digipack, but the desperate ones will also get the jewelcase if there’s one tiny difference. I’m not THAT much of a collector but I do know a guy who has like 7 versions of WICF because some had a different cover so he’ll be sure to get both versions.
Vixzter said on November 2, 2004 18:54:
7 versions of WICF .....thats bragworthy! i got the jewel case in Göteborg last week coz the digi was no where in sight.
btw.....i may have 7 versions of WICF too but i’d have to count

@Sparvogamarie: I agree about “deperate” and “obsessive” people, who will buy the 2 versions just to get that stupid drawing. The most important things are the songs included on the cd, not a miss drawing in the back cover...
Sparvogamarie said on November 2, 2004 19:18:
Well that’s true Vix, to a collector it’s something unique and a drawing is an excuse to buy the other version! Though it seems most ppl will have no choice but to get the jewelcase because digipack is getting hard to find. There were tons the day it was released, if I was smart I could have sold em on Ebay!

I am not very keen of digipacks ’cos they get ruined very quickly (same as papersleeve singles). When GT25 came out I bought both versions but in second thought, unless you collect anything, there’s no reason for it. He he I remember the old days when I used to enter HMV asking for a single on every format they had! (7”, 12”, CDS... Picture sleeve....). In any case I belive a collector would buy both version even if the drawings were the same.
Faezdel said on November 2, 2004 20:55:
I am a collector too, but not obsessive. To have the cd once is enough for me, because for me the important things is the music recorded on the cd, no the stupid case, jewel box, digipak. That it’s just paper and plastic...
There are different kind of collectors, no all of them want to have EVERYTHING that have “Roxette” printed on it. I’m that kind of collector, but some people don’t understand that. Some people told me if I don’t buy every release “you are not a fan! you are not a collector, then!” I don’t care about that comments.
I will buy the cd once, because I like other artists too. No way to buy twice the same record, I prefer to buy something different...

roxlad: what do you do with the digipacks that they get damaged? ;)
xarrrr said on November 2, 2004 21:45:
@Judith.... you should see my GT25 digipack.... my dog got it as it came through the door so it has “lovely” teeth marks on the spine :P
as to the Marie album...i got both.... and in their own ways they’re totally different (from silly and strange reasons.....)
like: the digipack’s colour is lighter (more yellow) than the jewel case booklet. the quality of the digipacks booklet is better [imho, although its just really a different texture paper], the pictures are different on the back and the CD itself on the digipack one looks better quality (though i’m sure it was not meant that the other one would look sooooo faded LOL!)
*edited due to typos!* doh!

my boyfriend is buying the digipack for me.
nice isn’t it.
and he’s not a rox fan he likes metal. (me too)
Faezdel said on November 2, 2004 22:52:
@xarrrr: you should kill your dog!!! And about the cd itself, I think they put the same cd both in the jewel case and in the digipack. I don’t think they made 2 different discs for each release. But, who knows???
@Judith: if you open and close the digipack in order to play the cd, the spine becomes worn very fast. If you want keep it in perfect shape, you should burn it, or rip it into MP3 files. And use the CD-R copy. Then, wrap the digipack in plastic and put it on the shelf!!!
Vixzter said on November 2, 2004 23:00:
the cd has a different cat# ;-)
jewel case: 7243 8 63181 2 1
digipack: 7243 8 63675 2 5

The digipack is made in Sweden and the jewel case in Holland.
