More expensive (or rare) item you ever bought

Some items are pretty expensive!!! Specially if they were deleted or out of print. Here, you can talk about that. We can decide you are crazy or not, then.
This is my case in Roxette items:
- Marie’s “Kärlekens Guld” set: 270 Argentine pesos (90 American dollars).
- Per’s “På Väg” set: 270 pesos, as well.
Another artists items:
- ABBA “The Singles Collection”, tin-box containing 29 cardsleeve cd singles, with limited-edition number: It costs 160 Argentine pesos. But in that era, 1 peso = 1 American dollar. Then, I paid 160 Dollars.
- Agnetha Fältskog “My Love, My Life” 3 Cd-set, including the mega-rare bonus cd, only available through Swedish TV offer: 100 dollars. Yikes!!!
Let me know your insane-shopping, as well.

My 5 x platinum Look Sharp! award from the States presented to Sam Goody. ...Cannot remember the exact price, but as far as I remember it was about 8000 DKK + tax and postage (*yiiiikes*).. But it was woth every penny, it’s huge (looks the same as the one in Leffes at Tylösand).

ncurran said on October 12, 2004 17:04:
and how about the best part of your collections that was free....
I still have the HMV CBB window display all wrapped up in my parents loft, a promotional CBB card signed by marie and per with “thanks” on it they sent to me when i gave them little gifts on the CBB tour....a huge blown up framed picture of me and Marie in 94, and the picture the fanclub took of me with Marie and Per on the meet and greet on the Room Service tour. Sometimes the cheaper/free items are the most special...
Faezdel said on October 12, 2004 17:09:
@ncurran: I agree. I don’t buy vinyl items. I haven’t a turntable. And cd sound is light years better than vinyl records!!! I only have 4 vinyls in my collection, because they were cheap:
- ABBA: Gracias por la música (LP)
- ABBA: Voulez-Vous (LP)
- ABBA: Grandes Éxitos (Argentine release of “Greatest Hits Vol. 2”)
- GEMINI: Gemini (1st album of a Swedish duo, formed by Anders Glenmark and his sister Karin). Anders was the producer of Frida’s “Djupa Andetag”, where she duets with Marie. Gemini only released 2 albums, but I love their sound and lyrics.
What’s WICF box set??? Wish I Could Fly??? Let me know...

Hahaha. That Per’s set is very expensive. Everywhere. But I played it just 1 or 2 times, because I don’t like Per’s solo career... I didn’t know at the time I bought the set.
Faezdel said on October 13, 2004 03:48:
On the other hand, the cheapest item I ever bought was “Favorites of Crash! Boom! Bang!”. Actually, I have received it yesterday. I bought it on eBay, new and sealed. It costed me $ 0.50 (4 dollars including postage).
A real bargain!!!

Also I bought the one and the only Roxette official live CD in Johannesburg. Was issued under Coca-Cola promo name and costed around 30$. Had to exchange it later for nicer stuff :) Haven’t seen anyone else having that in the world. LOL

Most expensive one was for me:
Original Pearls of Passion CD, bought via internet.
Later I gave it away to my sister, because I bought the Re-release which had more tracks on it.
