I heard this song on one of my music channels today ? they are a group from sweden , they are 2 men 2 women, one of the women has red curly hair and it H O T hehe. does anyone know of them ? Cos its a great pop song, and i think a grovey vid.

Theyre called alcazar. They have had one or 2 minor hits in britain already, but i think they have had more success on mainland europe. They had a big hit with “Crying at the Discotheque” a couple of years ago.

I love Alcazar.
a part of that song´s melody is from old Genesis song.
But it´s not a cover.
Those boys are a couple btw, how cute!
Sweden rocks!

I totally agree, that redhead is hot! I just saw one of their videos!

How dare they butcher a Genesis song! grrrrrr
Some music is better off left alone, especially Genesis!!!
The original is called Land Of Confusion, btw.

Cheap dance act. There’s also a second song mixed in. Don’t remember the title right now...

Some music is better off left alone.
All the originals must be left alone, No covers please!!

For what I know, the guy behind Alcazar is Alexander of the Army of Lovers!

thee guys are not a couple anymore

Land of Confusion is one of my alltime Genesis favourites!!! Too bad they turned it into a dance song :-((

They rock! TITWWLI is my favourite song right now.

Why the hell can’t those so-called artist not be original and make a song themselves?
It is definitely a sign of not being able to write music yourself if you need to cover a song to get a hit.
Today I saw that Marilyn Manson has covered Depeche Mode.
How does he dare to do that!

Get lost with those cover-bands!
The chart-lists would sound much fresher without them.

And spare me the comments that those bands do it as a tribute to the band they are covering.
They just do it because they know it sells (but that doesn’t mean it is good).

Usually 99.999999999% of the covers is much worse than the original.

To get back to the title of this thread:
It would be nice to live in a cover-free world, but I am afraid that’s an illussion.

depends who covers what, i personaly think there are some good covers out there and then there some crap ones ;) and when theyre crap theyre really crap so it kind makes u hate covers

Ugh!! I really hate Alcazar!! Stick to “Dansband” boys!! ;-)

They have an album coming out in UK called ’deluxe’ can anyone give me info on it pleaseeee :-) is it any good ?
