Remembering 9/11

Okay most people are fully aware that 9/11 means the tragic events that took place in the USA in 2001... and I know I am one who will be thinking of all those people who lost there loved ones three years ago :(

But of course we can also remember this day for two other events, in 2002 Marie was taken ill, so my thoughts are also with her and Micke, Josefin, Oscar and her family.

And 9/11 2003 is also the first anniversary of the tragic murder of Anna Lindh last year in Stockholm on 9/10 who died in the early hours of the morning on the 11th... so my thoughts also go to her husband, children and family....

I wonder what 9/11 2004 will bring, I hope for once it will be a peaceful day.....

It is indeed a bad date, on 9/11/2002 my uncle died.

and a bomb happen again in 9/9 2004 in Indonesia

few people died :(

For the American 9/11 OT ally!!...

@ Ferdan, wrong not exactly classed as OT or on topic.... it is really here to rememeber the tragic day in general....

If the mods what to move it, then so be it, I ain’t in the mood to argue... :(

It’s really sad. But now I’m looking for the good things, like new MARIE’s album. It’s a sunny day in Lithuania. Hopefully, everything will be OK.

For me -

I have lit a candle for those who have survived (and those lost) on this day in 2001.

I’ve reflected on the way things have gone / are going in the wake of and how it seems that everyone’s willing to give up their “freedom” for that illusion of security.

I’m going to hook up with my step dad and some friends and try to make this day better for me. 3 different years, this day has sucked. I’m NOT going for 4.

let us all remember 9/11 wtc and anna lindh today anna rest in peace

i lit 3 candles 1 for wach of the firefighters i knew that died and 1 for the troops in iraq. i stayed up all moring thill the time the first plane crashed :(

The firefighters have been the real heroes for a long time 8->

Ferdan: So have police officers. Sure, there’s corruption in just about every job out there, but I sit here and think about it:

This is a job I wouldn’t want to do. For the most part, you are despised for doing your job. Your life is in danger every day. You don’t know if that 25 year old you just pulled over for a broken tail-light won’t shoot you, or if you respond to a man beating his wife, he won’t turn on you.

I have a respect for them and the job they do. Same for the fire fighters.
