I heard “Cry” in the supermarket I worked at almost every day for eight months!
Mari said on August 16, 2004 10:12:
Uuh, there’s every day, almost every hour Roxette on radio. WICF, IMHBL, Joyride, FLAF, SPMT, Anyone, etc.

Last night I hear Dangerous at the Cordoba Shopping Center. Does it count?
Chaghi said on August 19, 2004 18:25:
Here at work I listen to Aspen or Blue (two major ’eigthies’ radio stations in Buenos Aires and other cities of Argentina), and there you can listen one or two of the classics per day, like SMT, LTYH, FLAF. If they get really ’crazy’ they even dare to play The Look, Dangerous, etc. *lol*
Too bad when our beloved band turns into “functional music” (sorry, don’t know if that’s the correct English expression for that...)
OT PS: @arnie: Your post reminded me how long has it been since my last trekking in Los Gigantes :( I really miss the days of the cheap bus tickets when I could go to Cordoba almost every long weekend!!!

The strangest song ever played that I remember was Do You Wanna Go The Whole Way? back in 1995, someone called to the station asking for “Love is all”, but it seems that the dj made a mistake.
Roxer93 said on August 24, 2004 12:32:
I heard IMHBL at work today (in supermarket). The lady I was serving was singing along!!
Mitya said on December 22, 2004 15:01:
excuse me, in which meaning is the word “mall” used here? radio?
the best dictionary I have says: “mall”- a (shadowy) place for walking.
I was surprised when I heard “Breathe ” several times on one of our local radiostations a couple of years ago whereas all other radios promoted “A Thing About You “.
Once I rode in a bus and heard “Needles & Pins ” over the radio - I didn‘t believe my ears, still think I was having a hallucination.

Once I heard “Tycker om nŠr du tar pŒ mej” broadcasted by our local radiostation. By Lithuanian radiostation. When I heard the first chords of this ballad I was sure that I pressed “8” button on my CD player remote control by mistake. And I was truly suprised when I finally realized that the sounds were going through my tuner.
Probably it’s the first ever Swedish track I heard on Lithuanian air.

I once witnessed a gang of kids rehearsing a dance to MMHGP. I suspect their dance-teacher must be a fan.
today heard SMT on the radio in the buffet, a woman, aged well after fifty i think, was singing along not knowing the lyrics just “m-m-m”

Heard ’A Thing About You’ in ’Coles’ Supermarket today...
VERY rare for me to encounter Rox like that in a public place here in Australia, particularly a newish song...
So I was standing near the speaker (wearing my roxette shirt) in a daze till it finished ;)

Wish I could fly on the Italian RAI Uno :D
It was in the programme called “Stella del Sud” (Southern Star), which is a programme about travels. The funny thing is that the programme did not have anything to do with Sweden.

@zargo
amazing! its sorta common to hear old rox songs in the shops but to hear something new is rare.
i frequently hear old rox ballads (mainly imhbl or ltyh) on mix fm (sydney station) while at work or late at night.
the look was on video hits over the xmas break.

Sparvogamarie said on March 14, 2005 14:10:
It’s no challenge to hear Rox in Sweden because the radio plays them allllll the time especially Per solo and GT. But I did hear 2nd Chance at Stadium sportstore, you don’t hear that one often!
Mitya said on March 15, 2005 15:53:
