Britney's 'Everytime'

Is it just me who thinks that this is one of the most beautiful songs all year? The lyrics in the chorus are just amazing ’and everytime i try to fly i fall/ without my wings i feel so small’. It’s obvious who the song is about, but the video which acompanies it more than makes up for that Timberlake muppet spoiling a perfectly good song!

I don’t see why Britney feels so compelled to justify anything to Timberlake. Afterall, Timberlake wouldn’t be anywhere near as successful now if it weren’t for his relationship with her. It was his relationship with her that propelled him from that geeky, lame idiot he was to the imbecilic cack he is today. Surely you all should be able to see that. PreBritney, Timberlake was one of the most disgusting looking people around - an asexual figurehead of one of the most ugly boybands in history. PostBritney - people suddenly realised who he was. It was easy for his record label to set up the rest. But, if he never met Britney in the first place, the record label wouldn’t have hooked him up tith Timbaland/The Neptunes (who wrote virtually everything on Justified - btw, what a crap title!), they wouldn’t have bothered paying £2,000 a day on a personal trainer, wouldn’t have bothered with the stylist who insisted he cut off that stupid hair (and, what a disturbing nightmare he must have every night, knowing that all it would take to destroy his career would be for him to just let his hair grow - all those pretty little 14-year old girls would flee, i tell you... FLEE!).

Anyway... enough about me ranting on about that muppet! Does anyone agree with me that Everytime is just a beautiful song?

And, By The Way, In The Zone is miles better than Stripped!

Songs I like from Stripped:
4/ Fighter
11/ Beautiful
16/ Dirrty
17/ Stripped (pt. 2)
18/ The Voice Within
19/ I’m OK

... as you can see, the good songs are few and far between. But...

In The Zone:
1/ Me Against The Music (feat. Madonna)
2/ (I got that) Boom Boom
3/ Showdown (written by the same people who wrote Kylie’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.
4/ Breathe On Me
5/ Early Mornin’ (produced by Moby)
6/ Toxic (who doesn’t like this song?)
8/ Touch Of My Hand
10/ Shadow (beautiful ballad)
11/ Brave New Girl (similar to her previous track Anticipating... very fast, very catchy. should be the next single)
12/ Everytime (produced by Bjork-callobarator Guy Sigsworth, WORDS & MUSIC written by Britney Spears!!!... Christina couldn’t do that!)
13/ Me Against The Musc (Rishi Rich Remix). I usually hate remixes, but this has some great Bangra on it.

... a lot more great stuff on Britney’s 15-track album, than there is on Aguilera’s 20-track album.

I went to Britney’s concert last friday.
The show was quite good, but the sound was really bad.
I agree that this last song has good lyrics.

The video is okay!

@Harriej Totally agree, the show was quit good, but the sound was really terrible!! Didn’t they do a soundcheck or what?!

btw Britney looked fit for someone who was very stoned and drunk the night before...

the guy in the video is hot, the song just gives me chills and i am no big fan of brittney, its creepy sucidal etc

Isn’t the guy in the video Stephen Dorff?

I like the song. That’s the only song that I ACTUALLY like from Britney. But I HATE that teen pop crap. That’s why I liked Christina Aguilera’s “Stripped” cd because she was finally being herself and she was NOT the teen pop star anymore and neither were her songs. She’s more R&B hiphop and that’s what I like. She’s way more soulful and more talented than Britney. Britney’s voice is weak and she ALWAYS lip sings her songs. Now who would ever look up to someone like that or even like someone like that? I dunno...anyways...I like the song “Everytime.”

personaly........ Britney gets on my tits ;)

I agree with stunt. I personally can’t wait for Xtina’s new album to come out. It’s supposed to be more soulful.

’more soulful’ - oh no. So does that mean more rubbish like “Lovin’ Me 4 Me” and “walk Away” or “Impossible” - those are the worst songs on the album!

The next album already sounds like a huge downturn!
