have to differ with you there kingdom,au entered the charts @ # 7 then climbed to #6 & then fell back to # 7
animalkingdom said on April 26, 2004 17:00:
Ummm no! It did not get higher than 7. As far as I remember it went something like 7-7-8-off top-10.
@ coyboy
If AU was a flop you can add every single release after SIMC to that category!

I always find it surprising that people of a certain age over here can remember Almost Unreal, along with their other UK hits.
Well, I suppose there weren’t that many hits... But there were enough! Enough to get them back into the charts again today. It just needs to be a good song. Not any of this ’living in a box’ rubbish.
Heck, another remake of It Must Have Been Love would do. They did it with Wish I could Fly, and it worked well.
“I Wish It Had Been Love.”
There. It’s sorted. It’ll be a double A side with “Dressed For The Look”.
#1!
Ok... #2
Unless there are any more records with explicit lyrics released that week, in which case I’m hoping for a chart placement of #48 or higher.

@marksufc, I’ve been saying this for months, but no one seens to agree, until now :-) I think a good song in a good movie can make a lot for Roxette. And fans would be happy of having at least a new song while we wait for that dreamed new album.
In this moment there aren’t good songs for movies, so maybe it’s the time for a Roxsoundtrack.
antz said on April 27, 2004 12:09:
It doesnt even have to be a new song.
There a plenty of existing Roxette songs that could be used in a soundtrack/movie. We just need somebody with connections to send a “Possible soundtracks for a movie -by Roxette” demo cd to some high ranking producer or director.
...Liv’n’n hope

coyboyusa: You are wrong.
Almost Unreal was (at least in Europe) quite a big hit. I think not much Roxette-songs released AFTER Almost Unreal have hitted the charts so well as Almost Unreal (so now I am not talking about the singles released BEFORE almost unreal, like The Look, Joyride, Listen To Your Heart and It must have been Love).
animalkingdom said on April 25, 2004 18:32:
Well, after making it into the movies they should make sure the song also ends up on the soundtrack (i.e. It Will Take A Long Long Time - Runaway Bride).
Oh, and AU ’only’ reached 7th.
