Beer or Cider?

So what’s your choise?
And your fav brand?
I think that if you drink more than a couple of ciders you’re end up throwing up...But no matter how many beers you swallow, nothing’s gonna happen :-P So I go with the beer...Never gonna get tired of it! *knock on wood* though...
There’s a Finnish brand called Koff that I am very fond of. Karhu is not that bad either!
Carlsberg is nice off the foreigners!
What are your pointviews?

Well true alcohol is something else... Say, if we met at a bar what would you take if you had these 2 choises, Ally?

Is this soft beer something like the dark one? Like Krusovic or whatever... Not like!!! Yuck!! too sweet!
Anyway, since starting this topic, I’ve had 4 beers - 1 cider ! Beer wins, again! ;)

beer.
Usually I buy Amstel.
The best I’ve ever had was: Vlaamse primitieve Blond (was a special edition which was made only during 1 month, unluckily).
Guiness is the worst.
Kilkenny is a good beer.

Beer can be drunk in larger quantities than cider ;)

Vixzter said on April 25, 2004 12:36:
It is if you drink it in large quantities ;)
When I have a hangover I really wish people wouldn’t ask why I drank so much......as the answer is always....coz it was fun at the time ;)
lonely_girl said on April 26, 2004 19:31:
Yeah, that’s why... ;-)
I once was tremendously drunk from Cider when I was in England... Worst hangover ever...
Jud (moderator) said on April 26, 2004 20:33:
and it’s sweet :P
anyway, other swedish ciders aren’t bad either :)
I mean with soft beer that doesn’t taste so strong.. Spanish beers are rather strong (the taste) and I don’t like those.. but Corona is quite mild in the taste, so are some Austrian ones.. those are drinkable :)
Vixzter said on April 27, 2004 05:40:
You’ve never had cider til you’ve tried scrumpy ;)
and if you’re alive after it you’ll wish you’d never tried it *roflol*
Jud (moderator) said on April 27, 2004 06:09:

on_a_mission said on April 27, 2004 17:57:
ah yes Vix, the social ill that is british cider, nevermind.....
per_mson said on April 27, 2004 18:42:
Beer = Warsteiner (favourite), but also a lot of other German, Austrian and French beer.
Cider = anything from France.
“Swedish cider” is not cider, that’s lemonade. At least there’s almost no fruit in there. Mostly chemicals.
Mixing lemonade with beer is something I don’t get either. I guess that is Austrians who can come up with something like that. The same people who mixes sparkling mineralwater with white wine.... ;)
Vixzter said on April 27, 2004 19:08:
Strongbow ....now thats cider :) when mixed with beer and blackcurrant it makes a Purple Nasty ;)
Compulsory hockey tour drink ;)
