Harem Updated!

I’m using a friend’s computer since mine is presently being worked on. I’ll rejoin it as soon as I’m done here.
I went to the Harem Concert March 6, 2004 and it was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMINAL!!!!!
The costumes / stage / songs / lighting / music were TREMENDOUS!!!! For those who are going / want to go, do so. I highly recommend this concert to you. If you attended the La Luna Tour, this far surpasses it. Of course, to me Harem goes back a bit to her Eden CD in terms of the music. More upbeat / up tempo / dance-able songs to it. She received AT LEAST 5 standing ovations out of the crowd here in Salt Lake City.... *pauses and thinks back* I think she received 7. Most were at the end of the concert. But a couple came after very emotionally charged songs.
I discovered that 2 of the songs on there “The War Is Over Now” and “Free”, are love songs. Very, very good. Of course, I had a bit of an advantage: I have the Harem CD (and the CD / DVD Combo pack) and sang along with the songs. People kept eyeing me funny...
Anyway, go see it folks. It was FANTASTIC!!!

The European leg of the tour has been postponed! Only 2,5 weeks before the show! Now I’ll have to wait till the end of September! *sigh* Ain’t life a b*tch sometimes....:(

According to sarah’s site:
“Ms. Brightman deeply regrets the inconvenience to her many fans throughout Europe. Despite sell-out shows in Amsterdam, Dublin, Russia and Scandinavia, logistical issues relating to the complexity of the production have forced the dates to be rescheduled for the Autumn.”

That could be a possibility. Or she needs some SERIOUS down time.
That is a concert that I would need a LONG nap after each leg (wake me up sometime next MONTH perhaps)

I saw some pics of the show, it looks very promising! I can imagine it costs her a lot of energy to perform this show!

Oh yeah. But as a performer, you also draw on the audience. When they enjoy the show, you enjoy performing for them and you find that you have more energy than you thought possible.
