i have got a question concerning the setlist of the bryan adams tour “here i am” ... i’ll go to the concert in the salzburg-arena on april 10th so i am curios about the songs we get ... does anybody in here know something? and another thing i’d like to know: i’ve heard somewhere that on stage bryan adams only rock with two band members ... is that true?
thx for your answer, rock on!

yes it is true that he plays on stage just with two musicans. at least this is how it was in poland in 2000... i hope he will come to poland some day again... lucky you you’re from austria!

oh, and only three people on the stage doesn’t mean that show is weak! i tell you that they sounded so great back then in 2000!

Wait a second! You’re all wrong:
Bryan Adams did played with 2 musicians (with a guitarist (Keith), a drummer (Mickey) and himself on bass) for many years, but since november 2002, he plays again with a 5-piece band (with a guitarist (Keith), drummer (Mickey), keyboard-player, bass-player and himself on rythm-guitar)! And now, the songs rock even more than before!
What can you expect? Well, during his shows last month, he played the following songs:
There Will Never Be Another Tonight
18 til i die
Let’s Make a Night To Remember
Can’t Stop This Thing We Started
Back to You
I’m Ready (unplugged)
Summer of 69 (half unplugged/half rocker)
It’s Only Love
Everything I Do, I Do It For You
Cuts Like a Knife
When You’re Gone
Heaven
Lonely Nights
Somebody
The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You
Encore:
Cloud #9
Run To You
This Time
Solo:
Straight From the Heart
Depend On Me
Sometimes he also plays House Arrest, The Best Of Me and Please Forgive Me, so all in all, it’s a bit of a Best Of-show! And it’s worth every single penny! ENJOY!
Best regards,
Marcel

If ppl complain about Roxette playing the same songs all over again I don’t think there’s anything to worry about..
Isn’t that the same set he played on his last tour except in a different order!
And yeah, where’s “Here I Am”? Shouldn’t the tour rather be called “Here I Am....AGAIN!” ?
marcelwentink said on April 7, 2004 10:23:
Ehm... Here I Am was in the setlist for a long time, but during his last shows (over the last two months) he didn’t play it.
Of course Bryan plays most of his hits, but what did you expect? People will be dissapointed if he doesn’t play a song like I Do It For You of Summer Of ’69. Bryan Adams (and also Roxette) have got so much hits and the people want to hear those songs.
But... Bryan doesn’t stick to a setlist that much. He also askes people which song they wanna hear and play it. He’s very enthousiastic on the stage. It’s really a joy to see him live and listen to all those hit-songs again!
Best regards,
Marcel

Two weeks ago I had finally managed to get a ticket to Bryan concert in Stavanger, Norawy June 2nd. Today we got the new that Bryan Adams is comeing to my hometown Bergen, Norway on June 1st. That’s annoying, wasting money on a remote concert, than he comes to my town. Why didn’t they announce all concert at once?!? I missed Bryan when he was here 3 years ago, I won’t miss his concert at Brann Stadion (Stadium) with 28 000 capacity.
And 3 days later, a-ha gives a rare concert in Bergen center square. That stage is on water. I dream of Gyllene Tider, but I’m pessimisting about them coming to Norway at all, in spite of promises to visit Norway before!

I don’t know about you, bur I like surprises. I usually go to the concerts withouth knowing the setlist and that really adds to the thrill.
In 1993 I saw Madonna live (The Girlie Show) and before the show started I bought the tourbook. I opened it and saw most of the pics and that really killed part of the magic of the show. For example, I knew that the clown character was in fact Madonna... What a dissapointment!
BTW, I really like Brian Adams, his old stuff mostly. 18 Till I Die is a superb album! After that I lost interest in his career... his new songs bored me.
