Madonna has decided to tour again this year! Hopefully she’ll play more venues so I can finally get some tix! Not a big fan of her songs, but she can certainly set up a mindblowing live show.

Israel?
What is it with big bands and artists that they wanna do the frekiest places for their concerts?
I bet she’s gonna go to Spain, Italy, Germany, France and the UK for Europe. Sweden would be an ultimate dream come true - - let alone our poor Finland...
roxtexanet said on March 9, 2004 23:40:
She won’t do Canada, either... she’s had something against us since we tried to have her arrested for lewd conduct in Toronto (-: C’mon, Madonna, we’re *sorry*, it won’t happen again, you could give free lapdances if you want to and nobody will complain! (-: Really wish she’d do at least one Canadian date, though... )-:

Obviously in need of money? I highly doubt it. And I don’t think she ever said her last tour would be her last one ever. I think that’s just what many fans thought since it took her 8 years to tour again.
I’m glad she’s touring again. With ’American Life’ getting no more attention whatsoever, I’m surprised she decided to tour now. I would like to go see her.
Vixzter said on March 10, 2004 06:41:
I can remember her clearly stating that her last tour would be her last.
Vixzter said on March 10, 2004 06:46:
I also remember te tickets being a ridiculous price, hence the reason why I didn’t go...... £80 for a cheap seat?..... I don’t call that cheap.

@ roxtexanet
absolutemadonna.com news quote:
“Montreal and Toronto are on the itinerary, but deals are still being worked out. She’s confirmed for Toronto, San Francisco, Scotland, Israel and Italy. That’s all I know. “
StillFar said on March 10, 2004 16:58:
Montreal :D can’t wait
and now we can also expect Annie Lennox and Sting together this summer ;)
no need to travel to Sweden for some good concerts!
Jud (moderator) said on March 10, 2004 17:14:
yeah the prices in 2001 were high, but well, once in a life time.. (or twice :P)
I don’t remember hearing that was her last tour though, well, if she did say that, good she changed her mind :)
Roxlander said on March 10, 2004 17:54:
Only in my dreams I will see Madonna in concert :-( I’d pay any price, but Costa Rica is one of the last places she would think to be.
Vixzter said on March 10, 2004 18:19:
@Judith: she’s good....but personaly I don’t think anyone is worth paying £80 for.
Jud (moderator) said on March 10, 2004 19:13:
well I didn’t pay that much.. Barcelona was cheaper :) I think I payed 60€, bout 41 pounds?
Actually the prices here in Austria are C R A Z Y... concerts start with 40-45€ if you are lucky.. Kylie costed over 70, the Corrs concert in summer costs 60€.. i mean?????
When I moved here I thought “hm nice, then i won’t have to drive about 160km to barcelona + back to see an artist” yeah - right! Concerts that in spain cost 30-35€, here cost 20€ more :(
I think the only person I would have payed that much money for would have been Frank Sinatra.
Vixzter said on March 10, 2004 20:16:
I’d still like to see Madge though, think she’d be great live just hope tix are less this time ;)
Kylie tix weren’t so bad here its just they sold out in about 10 mins and then you had to pay ebay prices ;)
Shania Twain has sold out here aswell and tickets for her shows on ebay are just stupid
roxtexanet said on March 11, 2004 23:38:
@animalkingdom: Hey, thanks for the info! Hope it ends up that way... stupid me, I moved to Vancouver just in time for Madonna to play Toronto (-:

Hey guys,
The tour will be officially anounced on Monday 22 March 2004. She will be touring England and Scotland in August and Playing Slaine in Ireland on 28th.
Contrary to popular belief the tour kicks off on 29 & 30th May at the MGM grand garden, Las Vegas.
The opening number will be ’Bedtime Story’ and she is currently having fun prepairing an accoustic version of ’Crazy for you’ which is just her on a guitar.
Speak soon

guys: help needed!!! Is anyone member of the Madonna Icon Fan Club????
animalkingdom said on March 24, 2004 13:49:
Expected numbers at the shows:
1 Bedtime Story
2 Skin
3 Justify My Love
4 Hollywood
5 Live to Tell
6 Nothing Really Matters
7 Borderline
8 Vogue
9 Crazy For You
10 Material Girl
11 Nobody Knows Me
12 Take A Bow
13 Die Another Day (instrumental)
So there’s plenty of room for other songs too... But if I were her I would perform at least American Life, Love Profusion and Nothing Fails from the current album. Also, a little bit of “Erotica” would do good! :)
animalkingdom said on March 24, 2004 18:24:
@ Markuz
Well, she intends to play plain album tracks such as Skin and minor hits like Bedtime Story so I guess your hope is not lost! Besides, I’ll Remember was a success (selling gold and peaking at 2 in the US and spending two weeks at 1 in Japan). A hit like that would go along with Vogue and Material Girl that are being rehearsed.
StillFar said on March 24, 2004 19:32:
@Judith: how did you get your tickets last time. It seems almost impossible to get hold of tickets, if you don’t want to end up paying 500 - 600 $ on ebay :(
btw, more dates will be added to the list. So there are chances she’ll tour Austria ;)
animalkingdom said on April 3, 2004 17:00:
More songs possibly to be included in the set:
- Bad Girl (wooooohooooo!!!!!)
- American Life
- X-static Process
- Ray Of Light
- Deeper And Deeper (wooooohooooo!!!!!)
- Like A Prayer
Lyrics to Vogue are apparently altered: she’s changed Grace Kelly and Fred Astaire to Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue...
Vixzter said on March 9, 2004 17:55:
Obviously in need of money ;) as the last tour was supposed to be her last world tour ;P
