I was driving down the M4 on friday night.....stopped at a service station and BK wanted over £6 for 2 whoopers....not meals....just the burgers...... I said something along the lines of....’you can stick that’ (maybe a couple of swear words chucked in for good measure) and walked away.....I’d rather starve than pay BK service station prices....atleast McD’s keep their prices the same everywhere.

Later on that night....I got a double QP with cheese go large meal and a QP on its own for about £5! LOL ;)

I gotta agree with tevensso, Wendy’s is the best. McDonalds and BK are both disgusting (in my opinion anyway). I would actually prefer to have a nice pita anyway instead of real fast food.

Well here in AT they are controlling quite a lot all the quality stuff.. I think I read somewhere that BK had to close down because they failed the quality tests (!!!!!).. later they opened again (not long ago).. and I think they were forced to buy meat from the country - as well as McDonalds - .. well that is a plus already, but still, who tells me there is no brain or liver or some balls in that meat? *yuk*

Yeah I like KFC’s Spicy Crunchy Chicken Sandwich yum... although it’s so fattening I have to swim laps and laps right after to burn it.
Actually I am not very much into fast food. Subway and Quizno’s are pretty good here in Victoria. I didn’t like California’s Subway at all. It was horrible. We have a whole variety of spices, sauces and cheese. They didn’t. Anyways... McDonalds has this new meal called Steak and Cheese. I was once very hungry and McDo is walking distance to my house. So I was forced to buy food from there and tried that. It was actually pretty good. Dunno whether because I was hungry or it was actually good.

Sure the cheeseburger at BK is ok, but the fries suck big time!! Plus that they serve Pepsi at BK! Ugh!! I also think that BK is more expensive than McD...

I avoid to eat these kind of food, but sometimes I can’t resist ehehe:P Anyway, I like both, but I think that burgers at BK are better. When i go to MacDonald’s usually I eat big mac, it’s my fav!! And I loovvveee the ice creams!!!:D

btw Santi, I know what pans&Co and Bocatta are:P and I prefer them too:D:P

I’ve only ever been to burger king once. not nice.
Normally we go to macdonalds, but I never have burger. apparently mcdonalds milkshakes are something like 60% chicken fat, and each burger has over 100 different cows in it...

Hey Pietro, at Wendy’s in Canada they serve Coke... I think in the States it’s Pepsi... can’t remember though.

Coke & Pepsi will vary from restaurant to restaurant here. I think it’s a vendor territory thing.

No, Wendy’s serve Coke in the US, Canada and the UK. BK should also serve Coke worldwide, they’ve switched since several years. I don’t know any major chain that serves Pepsi anymore, except KFC, and they are also owned by Pepsico (Like Pizza Hut and Taco Bell).

Zaine: McDonalds meat is not cow meat, it’s some sort of worm they grow themselves and that’s a fact they have said it as well.

Best fries are A&W fries. They are really good. White Spot fries is awesome as well.

I don’t think they use worms.. not in EU/Austria at least ( unless all those farms that serve McDonalds have some kind of subactivity :P and they have the cows as decoration only ;)) if the other countries allow anything to be sold.. up to them :P

But they put ALL parts from the cow in there and THIS makes me eeeewww!

Also heard stuff about rats, cats and so on.. also about the chinese restaurants.. but well, I guess these are just one sector against the other.. Typical “there are many asian inhabitants in all big cities but.. where are they burried?”

Nah, seriously, I don´t really like fast food. Subway is pretty cool though, at least their food is not plastic flavoured hehehe ;)
