Worst Film you've ever seen

Yes I know this has come up before..... but I can’t find the topic (if someone finds it then this can be closed)

Anyway...so what brought this on.... I went to see Kill Bill (the latest Tarintino film) on saturday night and I have to say its the biggest pile of **** I’ve ever seen in my life.....even worse that xXx....yes even worse than 2 Fast & 2 Furious!

It was the first ever film that I felt like walking out of.....but seeing as I’d paid £6 to get in and it was bloody cold outside I sat thru it.

The random violence was typical of Tarintino, its not that that bothered me....... he’s used the same style of story telling as Pulp Fiction (the guy is ripping off his own films!) and as for the fight scence’s ..... they might aswell have been from Monty Python!
Take my advice ppls....this film sucks!

So anyway.....what’s the worst film you ever saw?

;)

Chucky.... Return of Chucky or something like that I don’t remember. 4 years ago my friends and I decided to go to the movies after studying all day. Due to partial loss of brain, some recommended this and we watched it in wonder! It was horrible.
Also these past 2 weeks, I have realized my roommate has a horrible taste in movies. She borrows movies such as 28 Days Laters or I dunno what the name of the other one was. Horrible movies. What waste of time.

@Vix: I’ve not seen it but I can’t wait watching it.
How can you say it’s such a bad film? It can’t be.
Tarantino is my favorite director and Pulp Fiction is one of the best films I’ve ever seen and a real masterpiece.
I’ve only seen teaser of Kill Bill and I think it must be a great film anf another masterpiece by Tarantino.
Please be carefull of selecting your words! Is it really the worst film you have ever seen? Even worst than for example american pie and the same garbages?
We’ll discuss about this film later, when I watch it.

Artificial Intelligence - AI
Charlie’s Angels
xXx

and stuff like that.

And about Kill Bill, I haven’t seen it, but from what I read... to “understand” the movie you have to be fan of old japanese samurai movies and ’70s chinese kung fu flicks

You don’t have to be a fan of old Jap movies to understand Kill Bill (there was a Manga cartoon bit in it which was cool...but he took it too far and it got boring)....I understood it perfectly.....I just think its the worst film I’ve ever seen.

Pulp Fiction was great btw.....I just don’t think Kill Bill is on the same level as that although Uma Thurman does try hard to make something out of it

and OMG!!! theres a volume 2 to come out yet! I won’t be paying £6 to watch that ;)

PS...never watched American Pie so can’t comment on that.

freddy v. jason, its almost worse than kill bill, which I agree, is utter pish. :-)

Hahaha
Pulp Fiction was awesome! Couldn’t be more perfect. One of my all time favourites.

1. Easy rider
2. Easy rider
3. Easy rider
4. Easy rider
5. Natural born killers
6. Spider man
7. Harry Potter 2

@Vix: I don’t mean american pie. I mean every low level film which is made for earning money without paying attention to technic and art of Cinema.
I can name lots of films. Most of the Hollywood productions are such worthless films.Or ridiculous Indian films which are completely trash.

Kill bill is a film that is against your TASTE, but you can’t deny the worth of directing, acting, music, casting, designing and ... of this film.
For example the designer of action parts of Kill Bill is the same person who designed the action parts of Matrix. Can you say that his work is totally worthless?Maybe weaker than Matrix;but it can’t be worthless.
Or as you said, Uma thurman tries to play good.Isn’t it a Worth for a film? There are lots of films that you can’t find even a second of good playing by actors in them.
I have not seen Kill Bill but I’m sure it’s much better than most of the common films which you can see everywhere in the cinema.

Hannibal... BIGGEST load of tosh... supposingly the scariest film EVER... I waited and waited for these scary scenes... then the titles rolled.
I want to go and see ’League of extraordinary gentlemen’, but some say it’s tosh.

............maybe I expected too much. ;)

If you find a point to it......let me know ;)

And anyways.... by being released with big movie trailers..... that turns it into a common film doesn’t it?? ;)

Austin Powers

sigh I think the only good, really good films left are the low-budget ones or independent. There are very few commercial films that are worth anything nowadays..

This summer I won tickets for some films:

* charlie’s angels II - the films aren’t anything special, but at least the girls there ARE special, esp Cameron :P~ and well, at least they are funny.

* terminator 3 - jeez, I am still yawning!!! I think t2 was the best.

* tomb raider 2 - I thought of leaving the cinema after seeing Lara’s great fight against the shark.. what the hell was that??? I stayed because we got a cocktail after the film = free food + drinks!! The film SUCKED.

* A view from the top - with Gwyneth Paltrow.. erh.. yeah ok, some laughs but.. no thank you!

This year I also watched (as far as I remember..)

- Matrix 2 *yawn*
- The Hours - great one!
- Pirates of the Caribean which I really enjoyed, Depp is superb :)

What, Vix, you didn’t like the fountains of blood squirting out of head and limb stumps? It was soooo over the top that I laughed with each gusher. (You’re so right, it was like Monty Python’s Black Night at the footbridge.) It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen, and I liked it enough to see the second part.

As for bad—THE WORST film that pops immediately to mind is ARMAGEDDON—it’s equal parts polyester, plastic cheese-food (it’s not even real cheese), and sh*t. It’s like they got a box of generic Velveta, a leisure suit, and a steaming glob of excerment and put them into a blender with the script, then the director added his touch to it and special effected it. Oooooh!

Other candidates: Pearl Harbor, same dierctor as Armageddon, shouldn’t’ve hoped for better.

Final Analysis—Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, & Kim Bassinger in a Hitchcock gone very, very bad. . .I laughed through to the end.

The Hulk was *yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn*

The Star Wars Episodes I & II were infuriatingly bad. I don’t even want to see the IIIrd. It’s been a year and a half since the last one and I’m still fuming.

@MM: I didn’t mind that....like I said the random violence was no problem.....but didn’t you just think it was all very Monty Python? I just expected better thats all....it got to be not funny after the 3rd or 4th time.

Worst film ever? Super Mario Bros. ;-)

Independence Day

Anaconda ...with the worst actress and singer ...Jennifer Lopez...
