Apple’s iTunes shop features the first 3 albums by Roxette with most songs at .99 a piece. They also have a pretty nice biography of them.

for those that want an alternative to iTunes there is also the service run for OD2. In the UK that means that songs downloaded on www.virginmega.co.uk (Virgin Megastores) you can pay as little as 60pence/track - and some of the tracks are releases the same time as they are to radio...so you can’t buy them in the shops at that time. Other e-tailers who use OD2 are www.ministryofsound.com, www.hmv.co.uk, www.tiscali.co.uk. www.msn.co.uk or take a look at www.od2.com for more details....
...not that they are a client of mine or anything ;o)

But how is the digital rights management of OD2? Which file-format? I doubt it’s more open than iTunes...

OD2 uses Windows DRM technology only. meaning that files can be downloaded as windows media player files - they can’t be sent to anyone else, they can only be burned to CD if you have paid the right amount, they are specially encrypted to make sure that they artist’s copyright is sacrasant.
It is backed by EMI, Sony, Universal, Warner and the other big record companies.
It operates right across Europe and has just signed a huge deal with The Orchard independent music distribution comany which means that the company now has about 120,000 files more than iTunes at about 320,000.
just a different option ;o)
