Per for air guitar championship!?

I’ve just seen the tourism release party in which The Look is played acoustically. The intro is played by Jonas. In the About Roxette Documentary Jonas can be seen playing guitars for the Big L, but in the video Per pretends that it is his solo, just like in many other videos (SIMC, Almost Unreal, FLAF, etc)

Shouldn’t Per, as a consequence, participate in next year’s world air guitar championship where he can pretend even more?

Are you kidding me?

I thought he was champion already :D lol

Well... I’d be glad if his guitar was plugged in for once... I mean even when he’s playing chords he often just pretend...

He´s always pretending...even the bare chords.....kinda funny....he never plays anything on electric guitars...never.... just check the south africa 94 or live ism...

kinky ways to play guitar...

Are you really kidding me?

In GT he plays in every song, except for Nar alla vanerna............
you can hear him clearly in the återtåget CD because the guitars are panned one in left and one in right

Per was once asked by a reporter about air guitar playing: http://www2.dailyroxette.com/article.php/1116

Per said he does it quite often, “especially when he’s drunk.”

Yes, I too am suspicious of Per’s guitar playing

Air guitar can be pretty hip :o)

He PLAYS in Gyllene Tider you can HEAR him clearly in every live recording or live demo, so what should you be suspicious about?
He just preffers to not sound loud(or not sound at all) in Roxette.
I suppose it is a low selfsteem (about guitar playing) problem... he allways wants perfection in Roxette, so I guess he thinks that not playing electric guitar was the best for Rox live.
(In the last Rox stockolm concert he played louder than in the past tours tho)

Yes, it’s been many years since Per’s guitar has been unplugged. He said in his last documentary that it is true that he’s self taught, and that he hasn’t been that great at playing guitar earlier. But now he’s “quite an accomplished musician”. And I agree, he does solos and everything now.
