Doesn't it make sense?

I know it woun’t happen but my common sense is screaming to me that it should be like this: Mazarin and the first single has broken records all over the place in Sweden and have sold +- 200 000 copies and without a video for the first single. So why not do an English version of the cd and release it worldwide? I have friends that doesn’t like Roxette the don’t even want to listen to the old Roxette songs but the LOVE The first single from this album and it isn’t even in their own language! I think it will be a great financial move and career booster for Per to get this cd out to the International market...It just make sense?

No I don’t think that would make much sense, since the songs just don’t work in english. They couldn’t be better than they are in swedish.

No it does not make any sence. It would be totally absurd to re-release this album in English ONLY becuase you want to see Roxette shining at the top of every chart and sell millions of copies and see your friends adoring it...it doesn’t work like that. But as far as this issue is concerned i will not state any more points of view...I ran tired of that.... LOVE ROXETTE FOR WHAT THEY ARE AND NOT FOR WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO BE can’t cope with that? Then you have a problem...
Moving on..
“Mazarin” is a worth album especially tinged by the personall musical side of Per and despite many bits and pieces in it that relate to Roxette’s music this is not ther kind of record Per would like to see done for Roxette. The attitude and directions should always consider Marie’s position within the band and as one of the singers... It’s always different a Roxette album from a solo from either Per and Marie...anyway they can always have common aspects but never be the same thing.

I don’t think erweetiran meant Roxette. He/she is talking about Per.

I don’t think that Per would have great success with a solo album. Look at WATG, it flopped nearly everywhere it was released, though it’s one of the best albums I ever heard. Ok, let’s talk about a lack of promotion...I don’t think that Per or/and Marie should release solo albums worldwide.
And as I stated before: Mazarin in english isn’t the same as it is in swedish. What do you think?

It is a good idea in theory but cannot ever see it happening... although it worked for Kent?

Lawyer: Now you are doing no right to Per’s contributions for Roxette.
He has written nearly all Roxette-songs and quite succesful I may say.
You are now acting as if Per’s solo career is much more succesful then Roxette.
That is off course not true (maybe at this moment it is, but in general Roxette is much more succesful).
Roxette received even this year a price for the artist selling the most albums in scandinavia.
Per has written loads of good compositions for Roxette (more than 90% was good in my opinion, the other 10% was still satisfying)
