I like Celine’s version of At Last. However, I once heard Katey Segal (from Married with Children and 8 Simple Rules....) sing it and she was outstanding. I knew she was a great singer, but her rendition was simply amazing! She needs to spend more time singing and less time acting.

I’m just surprised Sony Music signed her again, considering the current state of music - at least in the USA.
Anyhow, it’s good to have her back, even if it’s an album of covers.

katie segal used to be a backup singer for bette midler in case u didn’t know and yes her voice is awesome

@coyboyusa
Yes, I heard that she backed up Bette Midler. I also heard (Lifetime TV’s Intimate Portraits) that she left because everyone thought it should be the other way round (B. Midler should back up Katey Segal).

Cyndi is one of the most under rated artists of our time. The songs in “At Last” are beautifully mastered by her and she has made them her own as other well respected singers/songwriters that have done cover songs (i.e. Annie Lennox, Natalie Cole). My favorites are “Unchained Melody,” “Until You Come Back To Me,” and “You Really Got a Hold On Me.” Although, I have been a fan of hers since her 1st album and prefer all of Cyndi’s original work (listen to Sisters of Avalon!), I am excited about this project which will showcase Cyndi in a whole new light. She has a powerhouse voice and ultimate class. No other singer compares to Cyndi’s high energy and superior voice.

shine was released internationally as an ep...she shopped it around to us labels who reall yhad no interest in her till she started touring with cher. She performed a couple songs from shine on good morining america’s concert series in central park this summer and it was great. cyndi is one of those underrated performers i mean i REALLY! lover her version of I drove all night...i wouldn’t mind that roxette cover album they mulled over a couple years ago....marie covering take my breath awya by berlin would be SO GREAT!

Great album cover. It looks like the classic 50’s/60’s covers.
I’ve heard “At Last” and it’s good. But i’m more curious about “Unchained Melody”.
