Min Tjej Och Jag

What do people think of this song? (if I’m remembering the title wrong, it’s no. 9 on Moderna Tider).
And can someone tell me what the title means, and what the song is about? First time I’ve listened to a swedish language GT song and really wondered what the lyrics meant. Thanks.

I really don’t like that song. Sounds silly.
If I’m correct it’s not sung by Per but the drummer of the band, or was it the pianoman?

yeah, it’s Micke Syd, I think it sounds really funny, so different to the rest, especially live with guys jumping on each other ;)))

I like the song a lot. Micke Syd sang it, like previously stated. He also sang the first version of Tylö sun. It was meant that he would do a “Ringo” - release a single like The Beatles did, with the drummer singing. A and B-side of the single, really. The idea was scrapped and Micke Syd was banned from singing for many years.
Min tjej och jag is about this guy and his girlfriend who have a problem with the world, since the two of them have a language of their own. (Hence all the ba ba ba ba ba and na na na na na...)

It is very nice how he [Micke] sang it last year (as can be seen on the DVD).

honestly, I don’t mind that Micke got lead-vocal ban after min tjej och jag... ;-) it was fun though to hear this song live last year

He was supposed to sing ’Harplinge’ but had a heavy cold...
It was refreshing to hear his lead vocals on ’Hjarta Utan Hem (My fav track off ’Finn 5 Fel’).’
’Min Tjej och Jag’ doesn’t excite me that much live, because they never do the best parts (the harmonica parts, and the guitar finale).

Great song!
And if you’ve been on the last Halmstad show, you had aa chance to listen to a slight different version of this song (by Micke & Helena)

@ kibkalo :
Yea... That version from the last concert was called “Min fru och jag” instead of “Min Tjej och Jag”. Very nice, since Micke had just asked Helena to marry him. *smiles at the memory*
Min fru och jag = My wife and I
Min tjej och jag = My girl and I
I think it’s really fun that they did play even this small part of the song! It’s really not very good, but kind of funny. And that’s why I think it’s so cool that they did the song. I was a bit disapointed when they did not play “Hjärta utan hem” though... ’cos that is a really really really good song and one of my favorites of F5F.

Very nice and funny song :)
I wished Micke sang more songs, honesly i don’t understand the point of banning him. He’s not worse singer than Per and i love the way the both guys sing.
Edit. Does anybody has that the very first Tylo Sun version sung by Micke Syd? Please please can you send it to me: [email protected] Very curious to hear it...

The titel “min tjej och jag” means “My girl and I” and the song is about a boy and his girl that get teased a lot because they speak their own, self invented, language. You know, all the ba ba bas, na na nas and wah wah wahs. I guess it’s their language of love.
