Not that we didn’t have that before, but there simply are no recordings from the RS tour good enough for a DVD! Sure, they did film the first three songs in Stuttgart (at least officially ;-)) and the whole concert in Stockholm, but what about the sound? I doubt they’d use stereo...

I’m sure their fans thought the same as many in here though - a lame attempt to bilk fans of their money by “making” them by the same thing twice. Ok here’s a list of what comes next: (wrote this yesterday in the r2r forum)

- another GT greatest hits + an EP with 4 new songs to promote the GT tour next year, or maybe the kompakta tider - remastered again - of course. Or both. >> AND i was kinda right!!!

- a re-mastered “Bore us” in 2005 to celebrate its release 10th anniversary with an extra demo (that we already will have because it will be as a bside of a single)

- 2006 some 20th anniversary thing, a remastered rox box or whatever.

- “the best of Roxette” somewhen in 2007 featuring both pop + ballads, but only the best, of course + a special version with a dvd incl. 2 new videos + another esp. version incl. an EP with 2 more (old) demos.

- 2008 another updated DVD with the same videos + the ones released between 2004 and 2008 (about 3).

Great ha? I wonder what it will be like when Rox is NOT a band anymore.

I haven’t bought other items - including the MF box that I think was a great idea - just because I cannot afford it and other items just because I don’t need to have them... why not wait until 2006, as Per says in 2005 there may be a new Rox album, and then add the 2 new videos + the videos recorded for the 2005 album + some extra interview or something? It would still be an update but it would at least be more interesting... and not so much of a “ka-ching!” ;)

If they update it now, then they will have to update it after 2005, so more of the same, as they say in German, ich hab die Nase voll!!! of all these editions with the same again + again >:|

I would prefer them not to release ANYTHING at all than releasing all this crap - after all this is nothing NEW, neither valuable or exciting,..

Who wants to have a remake of “wish I could fly” and Opportunity Nox video anyway :D

Thank God Marie and Per - even if I am not that fond of his stuff, I like the idea of the live DVD - (and Eva Dahlgren) will release NEW stuff soon :)
