Ok, scrub going to Dublin.... I am going to Hamburg instead! so anybody, esp German fans please give me any intresting places in Hamburg to visit! I will be there from 2nd December - 4th December so only 2 nights. It is amazing what you can cram into a short break!
It will be my first time in Germany, a place I might add I have always wanted to go! I am mainly looking for perhaps Christmas markets and stuff like that as I belive they are quite amazing in Germany.
I guess it will make a change from Stockholm!

Well, maybe the buildings looks a bit like Stockholm here and there, but the location by the water and the old town is nothing I ever seen anything of in Hamburg. So I think your roomie was a bit jealous, hihi!
But for shopping I can recommend Hamburg! There´s quite a lot!! :-)

Thanx... don’t get me wrong I love Stockholm but have been for xmas break for the past 5 years, was looking for something a bit cheaper this year! Hamburg was the place, return flights where really cheap with Ryanair, so it also gives me the chance to travel from Stansted and see what the airport is like!

Stansted airport... well it depends where in the UK you are to start with! All I remember was that there were alot of people wearing track-suits going on their holiday to Marbella!

While being in Stockholm as a exchange student I had a German roommate, who used to say that buildings and the city of Stockholm were not so special, that they looked just like Hamburg :D
I don’t really know if that’s true, cuz I’ve just been in Hamburg at night and only in the railway station.
