Marie - September 11th

Most of us that use TDR will know what September 11th means and this day will be upon us shortly once again. 2001 brought us the attacks in the US and 2002 brought us the day Marie was taken ill. September 11th will always be a significant day for us all. Some in more ways than one..... I know where I was in 2001 when the first plane his the world trade centre and I know where I was in 2002 when I heard Marie was taken ill....
Just want to wish Marie one year on, happiness good health and lots of love.....

I don’t know which bad rumours you’re talking about - but if we don’t here something (positve) new about her soon (in the talkshow on Wednesday...) I think they are all true!
I really feel bad! September 11th is my birthday btw... I’m really afraid what will happen this time! I hope to get postive news on Wednesday - but I don’t think so...
I think, if Per doesn’t say anything about Marie that can only mean bad things... and we will see if he tries to lie about her...

I don’t think people on TV should question Per, it puts him in a bad position and it is not fair on him... he should tell them where to go...

I’m really sorry that I don’t have positive vibes to give. And I don’t want the public to ask Per questions about Marie - but I think he should tell by himself. If he doesn’t do that, we’ll know why!
I only think, you’re talking about septmeber 11th, because you remeber all the bad things that happened that day - so everyone else will think of it, too! And the talkshow is on september 10th... That’s only one day before - so everyone will think about Marie and remember - and then it’s only natural to ask Per about her!
I’m just worried becouse there were’t any positive news for such a long time...
Of course I wish Marie all the best there is!

I did that a week after the 11th of sept last year.... for a week i almost only listened to marie....
atleast we could listen to her that day....
as far as I know Per said a month ago that marie is better and working on a new alvum, isn’t that good news?

and after 2002 i kept thinking “omg, this is a cursed day”.
but some newspaper once said, that the concussion saved marie’s life, because it made her recognise the cancer.
so, for ny 9/11 was a horrible day, but for marie it was a lucky one.
it looks as if the day itself wanted to say “hey, i’m not that bad”.

Maybe I am wrong but I believe that everything will be O.K. with Marie. All we can do is pray for Marie’s health comming back. Per is best Marie’s friend but he also knows that everyone of us-Fans worries about her condition and the future of Roxette.But ther is nothing we can do and Per tries to give us some hope. of course she will be OK, and yes, on 11th she fell but that made her go to hospital and doctors could find the tumor, so after all, it wasn’t that bad, they could operate her on time, start the treatment on time.. and SHE WILL BE OK!!
She didn’t get a cold, you know, but something a lot worse, and of course it takes TIME TO RECOVER, so stop all these doubts, think POSITIVE, she WILL BE FINE :))))

I think Marie has done really well this year, I am proud to see her out and about, it must be hard for her everytime she wanders into a shop or goes to a concert to have a newspaper reporter shoving a camera in your face and saying “smile”. Marie if I were you I would do a Bjork and punch them, they will soon get the message!!

The normal recovery period for such an operation is consistent with this timescale so I guess there isn’t very much news to report.
Although fans would be comforted to hear more announcements that Marie is feeling better, we can interpret this from the facts: Marie has got her hair back and is making public appearances again.

@Ted: The Daily Roxette certainly doesn’t publish “untrue” things. This is information coming directly from Marie’s management. STOP reading things into it that it doesn’t say. The message says “Marie is fine, the doctors say she feels the way she’s exptected to feel.” I.E. this is PERFECTLY NORMAL when you have had cancer.

this is weird:
attack on the usa, marie getting ill, anna lindh dead.
and besides that, the town i live in, darmstadt (germany) was bombed this day 59 years ago.
we had 12 000 (!!!!!) victims and several hundretthousand injureds in one single night.

We haven’t still got all those rights .. so that’s why on 11th Sept many Catalans continue to demonstrate in order to claim the recognition of our national rights and a greater degree of auto-government (as we had back in 1700) ..
So today it’s the “Diada de Catalunya” (National Day of Catalonia) .. my catalan flag is hanging off my balcony here in Vienna!!

My thoughts go out to Marie on this day - this has probably been the most difficult year of her life. However, I doubt it helps to have everyone question reports on her health. I believe if we, as her fans, want to help her, we need to think positively for her. It is very counterproductive to keep asking negative questions and assuming the worst.
Marie is strong and getting stronger every day so just respect her some privacy and be patient.
