So no need to encode your records, which won’t make quality better :)

Don’t ask me why, but the error message is only displayed if you left-click on the link in the pop-up window. If you right-click on it and choose “Save target as...” or have it downloaded by FlashGet, it works without any problems.

Maybe you need to re-install FlashGet. If it still doesn’t work, call your ISP’ helpdesk (Internet Service Provider), if there are some special settings that you need to enter to make it work fine.
To others: it is recommended to use a download manager, such as FlashGet, because it might happen that the connection breaks while downloading.

Although ALL information is on the website, here is what to do step by step.
1. Download FlashGet. It’s a free download manager that can resume broken downloads. As the videos are relatively big files, it might happen that during the download, the connection between the server and your computer breaks for just a second, and your download stops. To avoid this, use FlashGet that supports broken downloads. You can download FlashGet in the “Misc. Downloads” section of RoxBytes.
2. Install FlashGet. Choose the Adware install if you don’t want to pay for it. It’ll display some ads in the programme window but that’s all, it’s not going to install any spy/ad programmes on your computer. Just follow the instructions, it’s dead easy to install it.
3. Check out www.roxbytes.com again and go to Videos -> Per. Now, among others, there are the 3 links to the videos. As it’s written there, DO NOT try to save those links directly, cause if you do, yeah, obviously you’ll get html pages cause those links open a new window, in which you can find the real links. So, on the Per videos download page, you have to click on the links with the left button of your mouse, just as if you are browsing webpages and wait for the pop-up window.
4. In the pop-up window, you’ll find the link. Right-click on it, and choose “Download with FlashGet” from the menu. (Obviously, you only have this option if you have FlashGet installed.) FlashGet will start downloading the file.
That’s it. For further information on FlashGet please visit their website, www.flashget.com .
