hello,
can anybody give me some information about the bronze edition of the album “Look Sharp!” that was released 1989 in Germany? The only differences to the normal CD are that the CD is bronze and the CD-case red.
would be nice if you could help me!!! thanx

is the bronze CD a special and limited edition? how many copies were ever made? I think it’s very hard to find, isnt’t it?

I have three copies of the disc:
1) Bronze disc made in Germany
2) Black disc made in Italy
3) Black disc (according to the imprint of the disc made in UK and Sweden?)
All discs have identical EAN codes but slightly different back covers. 1 has a white field where you can only find the bar code with numbers below. Disc 2 additionally includes the Italian order number and place for a french and a UK order number as well as some additional hints. Disc 3 has the same white field as disc 1 but additionally includes the text “F PM 520” next to the white field.
On 1 and 3 the black Parlophone logo is printed inclined in the same way as the track listing. On 2 the logo is printed in the lower right in a straight line.

As far as I know, it’s only the German release, which has the bronze colour of the cd (don’t know about the red case). Looking in the Book, this CD is stated with no stars, so it shouldn’t be that hard to find one. This ofcourse according to the book. I also know that you don’t find it that often!!

As far as I know, the bronze discs are the first CD pressings of Look Sharp! (Sweden and Germany i believe) on CD, before Roxette got really popular (around the time that Chances was released as a single in europe perhaps?).

I have the bronze edition of Look Sharp but there is no different between the normal CD and the bronze one. The CD case was not red as I bought it just a normal CD box.
