roxette on dawson's creek?

yes, this tv serie has already come to an end but i wonder which song - according to you all - should have appeared there? my types are:
“never is a long time”
“watercolours in the rain”
some other that suit this show are:
“place your love”
“it will take a long long time or”
“it takes you no time to get here” and finally
“better off on her own”

what are your choices?

I love “Dawson’s creek”. I always wanted to hear a Roxsong there. I’ve got the soundtracks, and they’re great!

Roxsongs that could fix in DC would be for me:
I was so lucky
The first girl on the moon
Crash! Boom! Bang!
I’ll be alright (even when is Per’s solo)
Fool
It will take a long long time
Run to you

Definitely “It takes you no time to get here” - perfect lyrics, perfect sound. It’s a shame DC is finished. Let’s all bow our heads in a moment of silence....

Too bad this show has come to an end...
Haven’t seen the last series yet, though. Lookin’ forward to it...

Looks to me like Silver Blue might fit some of the situations perfectly...
And there’s alway IMHBL

being on dawsons creek ruined paula coles career so NO NO NONO NO

Maybe Paula Cole’s career wasn’t meant to be that long, but she will be always remembered for that beautiful song “I don’t want to wait”.

nah she just got screwed by her record label

I wouldn’t want Rox to be associated with a teen show like Dawson’s Creek. It’s a terrible show, and would give Rox a bad reputation.

But I would have loved to hear a Rox song in a movie, something like City of Angels Soundtrack, along with Goo Goo Dolls and Alanis. How about “I wish I could Fly”. IOP Per is a better songwriter than all of them anyway, No Offense

@ euro4ever hey, i don’t think dawson’s creek wasn’t that bad. i mean i’m 21 and don’t feel ashamed because of watching that show (or i wasn’t cause the 5th and 6th season hasn’t yet reached my country, if ever - i’ve ust seen two last episodes - all good thing... and ...must come to an end, downloaded from shareaza). actually, as for an american production it was quite intelligent, me thinks. i mean i do not divide art into ambitious and non-ambitious. dawson’s creek may be liked by some and disliked by others but one cannot say it had not any good moral. there were plenty of that and that is what counts. and that it was for teenagers, gosh, we all were ones once, weren’t we?
besides have you seen “the sky above berlin” (i’m not suer if it’s the correct title, i don’t remember that exactly)? cause city of angels is a remake of this movie. i don’t want to argue which one is better (though there’s no doubt for me that european productions appeal to me more) but just wanted to say - let one like what appeals to him. we all feel in a different way.

thank you :)).

Hello, friends:
Some years ago I was watching one chapter of Dawson’s Creek here in Brazil and I saw a thing, a detail and I don’t know if there is other person who saw the same thing: some people, I think Dawson was one of them, entered in a cd store and I saw the Greatest Hits cd there. But the camera didn’t show it exactly...
I’m sure about it but as this is a very little detail, I don’t know what to say. When I saw it, I screamed: YES! ROXETTE ON DAWSON’S CREEK!
See you

@ luizfernando
sounds interesting, doesn’t it?

If “Joyride” was played in 90210 Beverly Hill, why couldn’t a Roxsong be played in DC? I think DC is so much better than 90210. The characters and the stories are more interesting.

@ roxlander
boy, i never even thought of comparing these two. no offense, but these are two different worlds - both are for teens but two completely different categories. it’d never be possible to make a gay guy one ofthe leading roles on beverly hills. nor put such a chracter as Gram. or such an interesting realtionship as that of pacey and joey. nah, impossible :).
