I’ve been reading your messages throught last month, and I must say something...YOU PEOPLE ARE SO BORING!!!
Roxette is great, but you fans in this site are so boring. Always the same topics (which one is most beautiful, where can I find this or that, I sell this or that, Who’s going to..., hated songs, loved song, etc, etc., etc.)
Only a few threads seen really interesting, creative. The rest are lost of cyberspace.
Sorry, but that’s the thruth.

...being creative appeals to everyone, while the “non-creative” threads are just informative... (I naturally don’t bother opening threads like “Your favourite songs”, “Your own top 50 Roxette songs”, “Songs you really don’t like”, etc., because I, naturally, have better things to do.) Lately I can’t be creative here, except sometimes in Off-topic, but my attempts usually end up in treads with 5 -10 replies, when I’ve really wanted to make an open discussion that appeals to many people. Seems I never ever achieve this. You better don’t throw mud at the forum, but instead, try YOURSELF being creative. It’s worth the try, I believe it. I would write interesting threads if I had the ideas. I don’t, but maybe someone around does?... Maybe you?...
BUT sometimes I also need a little information on this and that. Forgive me, if that makes the forum boring place.

I may myself at time said I am not keen on TDR but I have learnt to accept that some parts may be not my style. But other than that I just visit the threads I am into. I don’t use TDR that much but I think everyone here is great :) There may be an odd bad apple around but you can get that in any forum!!!

Sometimes being creative is hard, and even if you think you have a good idea, people might not like it. It has happened to me here several times.
For example, this very same week I posted a thread with an idea to choose favourite Roxvideos in a different way; I thought it was a good idea, maybe creative, but your thread helenia has got more replies than mine.
Like i_jera, I think I won’t achive a great topic (those with almost 100 replies), it seens that I’m not that creative either. But I don’t think fans here are boring or something like that. Most people here are nice, for example adam, madjy, ally or judith.

This forum is not a focus group or a brainstorming action. I had the chance to read here a lot of interesting topics as well as stupid little rox-things that sometimes can make life look easier.
The “logic” of any forum is that people have reactions only to the topics they like. The others are going down by themselves. If a specific topic can gather more than 10 reactions that means it is interesting. It’s like any democratic election process. There are ups and downs, of course, like every other “natural” process based upon opinion of the majority. If you have “creative” ideas, put them here and you’ll see if the others really consider them so. But if a certain topic doesn’t look really “creative”, but still can gather more than 20 replies, that means it is interesting in at least one direction.
You can’t complain of the lack of creativity in a forum. It’s nonsense! You’re free to stay away from the forum until you consider it would be creative enough for your standards (but that means that yourself are not creative at all, but you only pretend the others to meet your requests), or you can propose creative topics and verify their originality through the reactions of the others (which means you have no right to complain of the lack of creativity in this forum because you didn’t do anything for making it creative).
I won’t talk about the third posibility: everybody here indulging in a boring neverending discussion on Per’s weight and Marie’s hair; and you know why? Because I don’t believe in this possibility - it may be real in certain moments, but not all the time. As I said, the boredom is a part of every natural process on this earth.
Not to mention that the “small talk” and the stupid little things play their important parts in every relation or group.

I’m gonna tell you the thruth. I’ve been a TDR member before, but I left one day because I didn’t feel good here. Back in those days, I was happy to meet Roxette’s fans, and I started to post threads here to share feeling and thoughts. But people were so mean, even cruel.
Actually, some of my threads were as boring and stupid like others posted nowadays. That’s why I tried to post interesting stuff, but it didn’t work. And you can feel good when you take time to look for things to share with your “new friends”, and they just ignore you. So I started to feel stupid too.
Boring isn’t the right word...maybe I should say some of you have been so cold. I certainly don’t believe in what Aaso say, I don’t think TDR are like a family, at least you didn’t treat me like that, and I’m sure there are others feeling like me.
In Roxette’s words: “I’m still waiting to get hurt... time after time”. Then, I became you.
