Om du såg mig nu (Orchestral version)

Hi all,
Excuse me for stating the obvious, but the orchestral version of Om du såg mig nu is tagged onto the end of ’Jag brände din bild’, isn’t it? Right... well, I don’t understand why it’s listed as being rare on various sites such as RoxService.

It’s my favourite fansite, and where I downloaded the song just as I ordered Kärlekens guld.

So, is the song rare? Is it a bonus track on the new version Efter stormen, or was it on the original pressing? I’ve probably just confused myself with various pieces of information :-(

Any info would be gratefully received, people :-D

The orchestral version of “Om du såg mej nu” is not included on the original pressing of Efter Stormen, only on the re-release of the album.
But I’m also wondering where you could find it before. It wasn’t released on any single, was it?!

Is it?

I have both the original 1987 Efter Stormen CD and re-issued one from 2002 and there’s no trace of that song... is there another ES album release I miss?

Thanks for your comments!

It’s the last part of track 12, Jag brände din bild, on the Kärlekens guld release. Unless I’m dreaming :-S

If it wasn’t on the original album, perhaps it should be listed under ’extraspår’ on the remastered version...

Does anyone know anything more about the song?

Regardless of whether it should be there or not, I’m just pleased to hear it in CD quality. It’s such a good recording: It captures that melancholic feeling which the actual song lacks in certain places.

@roxlad: It is not included on the tracklist of the re-release, but it is there, at the end of “Jag brände din bild”. You should listen to your cds ;-)

wow that’s true!!!! It’s funny ’cos I have the box set from a long time and i didn’t notice it... I suppose I was more interested to hear the new songs... then when Marie became ill I had a funny period and it was difficult for me to listen to her music, maybe ’cos I was too hurt I don’t know...

do you think it’s worth buying the marie’s box since i already have all her cds and the dvd+cd?

for example, does it change the quality of the sound?

the quality is a lot better if you have a good stereo system... also there’s the extra tracks...

wasnt the orchestral versaion on the promo cd for the song?
