How many ticket sold to Halmstad

Anybody know how many tickets that are released for Brottet in Halmstad. I know it is sold out, but how many.

I believe that it´s no less than it was when gyllene tider performed ther in 96 and back then there where about 11000 tickets sold to each performance.

That was in 1995, actually. They had to add somewhere in the neighbourhood of 200 support beams underneath Stora Torg to ensure the square would hold that many people.
Super show. I was beyond thrilled to have been invited there; at that point, no one had the faintest idea GT was going to reunite at all, let alone for a Sweden-wide tour the following year. :) They played Brottet in Halmstad the following year, twice. Also wonderful shows. :)

According to the promoters we were in touch with, 15,000 tickets were sold, and apparently a few more were released just before the show. The square wasn’t made for concerts, so it really wasn’t known beforehand exactly how many would ’fit’. They *very briefly* toyed around with the idea of moving the gig elsewhere, as the demand for tickets remained quite strong after the show had sold out. But, as we all know, that didn’t happen. :) It was really special to have a show happen at Stora Torg. What a great, great feeling. It made me forget all about having to be in Germany instead of at the GT show at one of my favourite pubs of all time, Penny Lane on Klammerdammsg. :)

Since i noticed that there are quit a few “old foxes” from the early days (when #roxette @ IRC dalnet where the place to B) aroud here at DR, i think it might be due to present myself. In those days i was CinnamonSt, Cinna and/or Cinnamon nowadays im just plain doodle ;)

P.S Vix, sorry if i wasn´t verry talkative at the release party, I was´nt very social at the time.

My goodness, I didn’t expect this. :) Nice to hear from you again. Yeah, there are quite a few people on TDR from the IRC days. I was around #roxette from 1993 - 1999. Haven’t been IRCing since then, but I hope everyone I knew from the channel (whether we were friendly or not) is doing super well. :) I know there were some misunderstandings at the time, but time wounds all heels. ;) And this heel wishes nothing but the best for everyone, period. Heh.
To keep this on topic, was anyone else also at that wonderful Stora Torg show? I was there with Ronald (http://www.evensson.com/gyllenetider/gtinfo.html), and I can’t remember for the life of me if I met anyone else I now know there... Good times. :)
