Hi
There was a Per interview on local Metro paper today and Per promised there are many more Rox albums to come! Good news.
He also said he is fighting against Internet downloading/pirate copies and he doesn´t think CD´s are expensive. (well it´s easy to say like that when you´re a millionaire).
He says he likes and dislikes at the same time to be on the spotlight, he likes to be on the background as well. It depens.
He´s more interested in F1 these days than music business!
Long live Per, you´re the king!!! Hooray!
cheers
Storm

hmmmm tell me how much does cd cost in your country? [in %, comparing cd price to average salary in your country]

for Per SURE CDs aren’t expensive, but for me they ARE. (I don’t work, i.e. I earn no money AT ALL)
I admit that I steal. (tho’ if it’s about Roxette /PG, MF, GT/, thesedays I refrain of, I haven’t downloaded Mazarin, I’m gonna wait some weeks more.)
...but not everyone has a fortune, and not everywhere is Sweden , PER (!!!!)

CDs are only expensive when much of the material is filler. Don’t you think? I’ve bought some really good albums that I have paid only $10 for - which I would have happily paid more for because they were really good. Then there are albums I’ve paid $15 for but didn’t really like, so then they were a waste of money.
It depends on your income and the quality of the recording.

But is it really that bad if people who havent got ANY money download the CD? I mean, if you want to share the music, you can also shared it with the people who havent got enough money....it shouls really be about that. I myself am crazy enough to buy everything Per releaes ;)

I don’t mind what people say, I love music of all kinds but I cannot afford it right now. And I won’t stop listening to it, too many pearls out there to miss them ;)
Some things in my life changed, my girlfriend and I moved together and we live from what she earns, so we have had to cut down on certain things, one is buying CDs (other is going to the cinema, we rent dvds instead, etc).
I used to buy at least 1-2 CDs per month before we moved together, now we cannot afford it, so we download the albums. When we like a certain album, we write it down on a list of “must buy”, and we get them when we can afford it, after saving a bit, for special occasions (birthdays..), etc. So it’s not that we won’t buy the albums because we have the mp3s. I love to have the CD on the shelve with its booklet and all.
Thru downloading I have got to know artists whose music I had never heard before, like Eskobar or Melissa Etheridge, and I have recommended them here and there, and some people have got their CDs because of the “free promo” I made. So after all, the free downloading ended up in a sale ;)

Well, I for one would NOT have ordered the cd if I hadn’t listened to it first! I just could not afford it... but because I love the album SO much, I am getting both versions. :)
I am now skint! :(
