Hello everybody!
While surfing on Kazaa I found out Marie’s Danish friend, singer Sanne Salomonsen has done a cover of IMHBL. I must say I just love it! Gospel choir is doing backing vocals, great arrangement also - guitars, piano and sax. I don’t have a homepage but if you are interested I can send it by e-mail and somebody could put it online. Recommended indeed. Especially I like the way Sanne is taking a high note in Marie’s style in the begining of 2nd verse.

I haven’t had a time to take a look at Sanne’s biography, I just know she’s Marie’s friend. She has a home page http://www.sannesalomonsen.dk/
I also have a great video file where she sings a duet with Marie or Marie sings with her (I guess the first one could be correct one) a song “Drift away”. I was very impressed by Sanne’s voice, I think I might take a closer look to her music. If somebody’s ineterested in having a video would be great if you could use MIRC, then I could DCC it easily. Otherwise I don’t know how to devide a video file and send it by e-mail. Or somebody has in online? Haven’t seen so far. In “The Look for Roxette” must had been something told about “Drift away” performance, unfortunately haven’t had a time to check that out either.

yeep, it’s from an album with some Danish artists, that was released in 1999, called “A touch of gospel” :)
