What they really think and what they say

Hey,it’s just interesting:is it possible to find really truthfull words in interviews,TV-programmes,etc?There are a lot of contradictions always. For example after HAND Per said it was their best album, but after reviews and while making RS he told that HAND wasn’t very good.Won’t it be with the Mazarin in the future? And besides blurred answers to “uncomfortable”questions...
I was killed by his saying that now composing songs more like work.Music is work-doesn’t it sound unreal? And now Mazarin’s coming…
Still I respect him much.

I also find it hard to believe celebrities’ interviews - I think that they are meant to show the audience that the star is still around and successful, so to speak, to attract attention. In most cases such interviews, TV appearances etc are just like commercials and may sometimes be far from reality.

okay - he’s a business genius. face it - he is too damn smart for most people or he’d have had three divorces and ten visits to drug rehab by now. I stand by genius

Santi: no wonder you can’t understand this, since it came from Expressen >;p Anyway, pre-listening is one thing, not going to buy the CD’s afterwards is another. Apparently many think people start doing just that (whether it is actually true or not)...
As for interviews: it’s true you can’t always trust them. Esp. when it comes to scheduels!! ;)

I guess most people change some of their opinions over the years. The problem with ’stars’ is that almost everything they say is printed. When I change my opinion nobody gives a damn, but when they do they get remarks as being inconsequent. Not always fair, but probably the price you pay for fame and fortune.

He also said that he enjoyed Napster (and that after hearing the MP3 he went to buy the records) and he saw it very positive for music business, and now he almost claims it’s a crime...
I don’t understand this, probably he has seen his income money lower and blames this.
However I do understand about his opinions on his own CDs. Obviously if you’re going on promotion for a CD, you won’t say “Don’t buy this, I wouldn’t buy it if I was you...”. It’s his work, to say that it’s the best thing ever, even if they don’t believe it so. I never believe musicians when they talk about themselves in promotion. Besides it’s always said that “time puts things in order”.
