Modern Talking is history

Just wanted to inform you that biggest German pop-group ever Modern Talking has split up after 12 succesful albums. :( I liked them.

Storm

their newer albums seemed rather cheesy than the others...

Really? I´m from Germany but I haven´t heard about it. By the way, I didn´t like them. Ah! It´s the second split of them.

Yes, it‘s right. Modern Talking is broken. Only 1 concert in Berlin, 21.06. and than we can wait for the next reunification.

thank god.... i hated them brrr.....

Jackeill @ bad bad boy! :p

Sorry dears, but is that kind of group that makes me grrrrrrrrr, sick! Sorry for the fans, but don´t worry, they will get together again.

I can’t say i liked them, but my mom haves their biggest hits on CD and i always sing along :DD

I never liked them.....

What a pitty!

oh the loss lol

theedge @ they said this time split up is ultimate.

yeeeeeeahaw *lolz*
no but ... who cares?!

Did they the previous time say they would be together in the future? :O

dont think so :)

Millions of fans are shock.

Storm

No big loss, I was never really a fan of Modern Talking. They never really had a US record deal, but RCA here did try something. They released a single by MT here, just to see if it clicked, and nothing happened. So they gave up.

in germany they are (were) veeeeeeeeeeeeery successful

Larry @ No big loss??
Maybe not for you but maybe for someone else.

Yeah, I’m sure that for many people it is, imagine Per and Marie spliting... For millions of people it would be “no big deal”... but what about the people in here?

Respect the likings of everyone ;) (except Camela fans :s)

who´s Camela?
If someone doesn´t like MT why bother replying here and bitchin‘?

It’s the most horrible gispy-pop thingie that ever came up in Spain... if they split... my cousin would cry rivers :s... but well, she’s as musical as a pig... Wendy heard her singing “Un Día sin ti” of Roxette, lol :D

Wen, tell them how musical Junkal is!! :p

*puts hands over my ears*

LEAVE ME ALONE,LEAVE ME ALONE,LEEEEAAAAVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ALLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE :’(

looooolz
how old is wendy? 12? 13? ;))

I’m 19,sir,but,my mama told me not to talk with strangers,i’m sorry *turns around and runs away*
:p

muahahaha *lolz*
but u seem to be pretty sweet ;)

Hehe *shy*

Ofcourse i’m sweet :DD

but couz i donno who u meant i gona leave u alone *löl*

Asch, Wendy isn’t sweet, she is ULTRASWEEEEEEEETTT!! ;-) Lolz!! Storm, I was saying MT splitting is no big loss for me, sorry. Of course to fans it’s like the end is near. I respect people’s opinions. San, I don’t know Carola’s music, so is that a big loss for me??

Carola and Camela are two different... “things” :D Carola’s voice is not bad actually (in my opinion), and the song she won Eurovision with (Fångad av en stormvind) is quite good. She’s plain stupid, that’s all.

Camela is the worst sounding “band” in Spain. It’s a trio. They make a mix of “flamenco-pop” with techno, or so, with a bunch of lyrics in which the two singers sing all the time about the same subject (“Oh she doesn’t love me, Oh what can I do, Oh, I’ll die”...), with horrible voices. The third member of Camela wears a portable keyboard (that you can hang like a guitar) and plays horrible grooves with a very bad taste synth sound. It’s unbearable... sincerely. They are pretty popular especially among gipsies. They are also quite popular among girls between 20 and 15 years old. Their records used to sold just in tape format in the petrol stations, now they even have CDs and a website, I think :D

Were they really THAT big to being with?

OK, I do like a few of their songs, but they are relatively cheesy as hell. Typical 80s Europop.

“Wooooooooooaaaaaaaaah little queenie I’m your fool c’mon, teach me the rules and I will send an SOS for love!...” ;)

Jackie:
yes, they were huge. They sold about 100 million records and they are biggest German group ever.
Yes, their music is cheesy and lyrics are bad.

Storm

Finally!!! I didn’t like them at all. So cheesy and Dieter Bohlen makes me wanna vomit *ugh*
