SPUN - The flop (Update)

I just got into Yahoo! Movies.
(You’ve got to check it out!!!)
SPUN directorial debut of Jonas Ackerlund is officially a flop.
The movie, released on March 14th has only gathered some $300,000 at the boxoffice.
The studio is dissapointed...hmmm.
Well, at least now they feel, like we felt when we knew Roxette was not going to be in the soundtrack.
I do believe Roxette might have brought some luck to Ackerlund.
Your thoughts?

Is there a official soundtrack-cd-album of SPUN? I don’t believe that, sorry.

SPUN really doesn’t have anything to do with Roxette since it was not even the title track of the soundtrack. A good song cannot revive a movie that is bad -> Super Mario Bros back in 1994 with Almost Unreal.

From what I have seen of the movie (interview with the actors and such) the movie is shit.
It’s basically a bunch of snipettes on crack. Most about people pretty much messed up on drugs. The parts I have seen leave you pretty much like @_@.
It’s basically a Trainspotting type of flick, cept chopped, diced and pureed a few times and meant to give you a headache.
As for the song, did anyone really expect another It Must Have Been Love? I mean, sorry to burst anyone’s bubble, but unless Rox get another deal in a movie like Pretty Woman or something more notable. That will never happen again. I still get that nice warm and fuzzy feeling inside when Pretty Woman is up. Actually, I make everyone shut up during the part where IMHBL comes on and blast it. ;)
No offense to Åkerlund, I think he creates some really cool stuff, but this flick is nuts.

well if the film is the same as his Rox videos..then no wonder ;)

Well, just to clarify:
I do believe Rox being in the soundtrack might’ve been nice.
At least we could see another rox video + single.

I don’t care about what studios say...
The same kind of people is saying all day long that Roxette are over since 1999...
